McCain won fair and square. The Conservative candidates were just lousy candidates. Hunter and Tancredo have the charisma of a Loofah Sponge.
The irony of the whole situation is that McCain may be the strongest candidate we have had in decades??

I have a hard time calling McCain's win fair and square the way Crist came in at the last moment and BS’ed a Fla. victory for him.

McCain did win. I'm not convinced he won fair and square but he did win within the rules laid out before him. IMHO we had several good Conservative candidates. Since the conservatives of the party could not come to a consensus the party leaders got their candidate as our nominee.

True if we consider all the white male dem voters who would never vote for Hillary!! They find McCain palatable, but would have trouble with a Romney or Thompson.
