One big fact has largely been lost in the recent coverage of the Democratic presidential race: Hillary Rodham Clinton has virtually no chance of winning.
Her own campaign acknowledges there is no way that she will finish ahead in pledged delegates. That means the only way she wins is if Democratic superdelegates are ready to risk a backlash of historic proportions from the partys most reliable constituency.
Unless Clinton is able to at least win the primary popular vote which also would take nothing less than an electoral miracle and use that achievement to pressure superdelegates, she has only one scenario for victory. An African-American opponent and his backers would be told that, even though he won the contest with voters, the prize is going to someone else.
People who think that scenario is even remotely likely are living on another planet.

Go Hillary!
“People who think that scenario is even remotely likely are living on another planet.”
If Men are from Mars & Women are from Venus — where’s Hillary from?
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Out of the ashes of a near checkmate situation AlGore the savior arises to save his Party! (Unfortunately for them, the Blacks will still see this as stealing the election from Obama.)
Uranus?
And if they don’t find a way to pick Hillary they are going to lose the white vote. Which do you think they will choose?
I agree. Richardson obviously agrees, what a backstabber he turns out to be/always was. Obama will have a Convention Coronation, make a great speech, and the the 527’s will hand him his lunch. Sorry Barack, get ready for a iceball fight you and Axelrod have never experienced before.
The Clinton’s got away with Arkancide so many times, I wouldn’t put anything past them. Are they willing to take that big of a chance ?...History has shown us the answer is likely YES.
Thailand?
It all depends on how many of the superdelegates are “typical white people”....
Don't overlook the Fort Marcy option.
People keep saying she’s done, and I agree if MI and FL are not seated or re-voted. I haven’t done the math, but wouldn’t she be pretty close or ahead in pledged delegates if she won PA/NC/FL/MI by 60-40%? That’s still a possibility if re-votes happen. NC may be closer, but the Wright scandal and another shoe dropping may make this plausible. Of course, I hope Obama gets the nod because he would lose 44 states at a minimum.
Jupiter, the Gas Giant?
This IS what will happen.
Hillary, with a delegate deficit, will “win” the nomination on the superdelegates, using the Wright issue as the catalyst - he can’t win the general, she’ll say.
Yes, the black vote will disappear, and the dhims will be severely damage.
Perfect! LOL! Sure glad I wasn't drinking anything when I saw that....
Go Chaos!
This is the same party that allowed Lautenberg to run for Senate after Torricelli’s problem, despite passing the clear deadline for eligibility.
The same party that defended denying a day in court to a private citizen, Paula Jones, to protect their power.
The same party that wanted recount after recount in Florida, thereby preventing an orderly transition to a newly elected president.
The same party that abused the Senate’s power to advise and consent to judicial nominations.
They can do anything they want. Once they do, almost all will fall in line.
Richardson's loyalty has always lied first with Richardson, then with Bill Clinton.
Hillary was nowhere on the list, as his early efforts to sweep away the Monica mess attests.
