AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, and Doctor of Democracy. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

The United Church of Christ includes many of the oldest congregations in this country. More than 10 percent were formed before 1776. It is socially, racially, economically and theologically diverse, These guys certainly know the meaning of "understatement", don't they?!

Miss Behave, I can't take credit for being the first to post it. L Jayne posted a thread on 3-15 with the YouTube link. I just wanted more people to see it so I kept linking to his thread.
Take note though that both Wright and Manning blame the whites for everything. Manning says that Obama's a Mac Daddy because Obama's pimp daddy married a whoring white women.

I saw the Marjoe movie years ago, but it made a big impression. PBS actually had a show on him, last year. The first time that I ever heard Obama speak, I thought, Marjoe. It turns out that he took Wright's tapes with him to Harvard Law school to practice using his style. Wright also gave him training in crowd control, according to this article,
Barack Obama's Search for Faith.

I hope so...It’d be nice if conservative who weren’t going to vote for McCain ALL did the same thing, whether it was writing in the same person, or voting for the same 3rd party person, just to show how many of us there could potentially be.

Any Sake suggestions???
To: Fudd Fan
This was decided for me soon after McC got the delegates for the nomination. I can’t stand John McCain and he worries me on countless levels, including illegal immigration, his mental stability, global dumbing, etc.
As the mom of a soldier- I MUST vote for McCain. To even imagine the other two as CIC...shudder...

President Reagan: “How do you tell a communist? Well, it’s someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It’s someone who understands Marx and Lenin.”
Just thought I’d throw that out there......

Grandma and I moved seven years ago, and were STILL looking for a church that isnt either a sophomore seminar in sociology or a fern bar.
The church I go to has ferns and after church, you can have wine or beer (adults), juice (kids) and cookies (for all)

Richard Fernandez compares Obama's speech to
Robert Kennedy's in 1968 after Dr. King's assassination.
The saddest and most striking thing about Kennedy's speech is how similar its themes are to what Sullivan called "a speech we have all been waiting for for a generation." It's almost as if a needle had been taken off a track on a vinyl record and seamlessly spliced with the tracking laser on a CD. Today the sound recording is better. The video is in more vivid color. But the current cast resembles the original only in parody. Where RFK was eulogizing Martin Luther King, Barack Obama was talking about Jeremiah Wright. The words are the similar but different; and the times congruent at points but in altogether changed circumstances.
Read the whole thing.
