Roberts burned rebuttal time on the trigger locks. Neat trick.

Roberts just basically told Solicitor General Clement that the DC law is unreasonable. The court laughed.

If the Court holds that the 2A deals with the rights of an individual independent of a militia and in so doing strikes down the DC handgun ban, it’ll be a huge victory.

And from what I am hearing, this should be a stated aspect of the decision.

I dunno, most of the Justices appear to be gearing up for a big-time correction of Miller.

Dellinger lost it. He doesn’t have the groove. There is only one way we can lose this one.

You didn’t answer my question. I wasn’t talking about television or radio, I was asking if you believe SPEECH and RELIGION should be licensed. Should you be required to obtain a license before you are allowed to express your opinion?

Thank God, there are exceptions to “baby steps.”

Well, class time for me, boys, I’ll check back in later.

I have my class listening to this. This is history. This is English rhetoric. Go for it.

This won’t be a baby step decision. The court is expanding on the argument far too much. 922 (o) is a dead duck.

Fear not, we lose that way, we fall back on the 2nd and fix the problem with a bit of water for the tree.

FCC broadcast licenses are to make sure people aren’t stepping on each others frequencies, not to make sure only certain people are broadcasting.

Don't get me wrong. I know it will be a narrow decision. What will come out of this is the opening of a door to contest GCA68, 86, and NFA34.

That is what we may get in the bargain, including a correction of Miller, which should have never been heard unopposed.
