A teenager today admitted beating and stabbing a 17-year-old model to death in broad daylight.
Marc King-Bromley attacked Danielle Johnson behind garages in Bounds Green, north London, on May 28 last year.
The hair and beauty student, who studied at Waltham Forest College, died on June 8 in the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead.
The youngster had been mugged on numerous occasions before her death and had a BB gun held to her head by a fellow student.
Her mother, Jan Johnson, claims she went to see police 20 times but was told there was no point in prosecuting the culprits.
TOPICS: News/Current Events; United Kingdom
KEYWORDS: gunfreezone; model; murder
I thought that doing away with guns was supposed to make the UK safer? London has turned into a surveillance society, but the police have no interest in catching the bad guys until they actually murder someone.

Prayers for Danielle Johnson & her family

No one deserves this.
A 17-yr old, previously harrassed constantly off to live by herself?
Why is there no mention of a Dad?

More evidence of the total devolution into lawlessness / tyranny / and liberal insanity in governance... of what was once GREAT Britain....

Is England any longer a civilized country?
How can the police deny a young woman protection from repeated attacks?
Parliament needs to investigate. I wont be holing my breath. If they investigated they might find some facts that do not square with their most sacred Liberal Truths.

With all due respect to our brethren in law enforcement... The police cannot protect every citizen (no matter how many complaints they register). Our RTKBA is the only real defense against this type of lawlessness and is being eroded daily!

How can the police deny a young woman protection from repeated attacks? The same way that they do here in the US. The police are not obligated to protect anyone and YOU are ultimately responsible for your own protection, even if you have no means to protect yourself effectively, even if you are prohibited by law from even carrying a knife much less the most effective equalizer ever invented. (That would be a handgun for those from Rio Linda.)

The police are not obligated to protect anyone My intent was How can they morally refuse to protect her? and How can they morally refuse to arrest her attacker?

Great Britain has moved away from morals. Less that 5% of Britons go to church regularly. They have become a bunch of wimps so politically correct that they are afraid to offend anyone. They will become the slaves of the Muslims within 50 years.

The divorce industry and its resulting fatherlessness is a success in Britain! Thank goodness, domestic violence was stopped.

The British socialist sc*mbags have placed vast numbers of corrupt pro-criminal judges on the bench (a la Carter and Clinton).
This brutal murder is part of the socialists’ evil legacy.
We face exactly the same is Obama gets into power.

More evidence of the total devolution into lawlessness / tyranny / and liberal insanity in governance... of what was once GREAT Britain....I'm reading "The Abolition of Britain" by Peter Hitchens (Christopher's Catholic brother) and what you write is exactly the subject of the book. In an interesting time arc, he frames the change as mostly happening within the years between the funerals of Winston Churchhill in 1965, and Diana, Princess of Wales, in 1997.
