Olbermann targets Hillary tonight
The Clinton campaign, which protests a lot already about MSNBC's coverage, might have another piece of evidence to use against the network. Keith Olbermann said on yesterday's "Countdown" broadcast that he's giving a "special comment" tonight about Hillary Clinton.
HuffPo's Rachel Sklar notes that the YouTube-friendly "special comments," which typically target the Bush administration, often generate hundreds of thousands of views online.
Of course, it's already been a rocky couple months between the Clinton campaign and the network. Chris Matthews and David Shuster had to issue public apologies for statements directed toward Clinton and her family.
And Tucker Carlson, a harsh critic of top Clinton aides, recently lost his show. While the Clinton campaign wasn't the official reason, I've heard internally that senior news executive Phil Griffin was not happy with Carlson's on-air statements about Clinton staffers
So will Olbermann, who also anchors election night coverage, be the next to suffer the Wolfsonian wrath? Guess we'll see after tonight's show.
If Olbermann attacks Hillary, it raises my estimation of her.
BRIAN:
Are you the Judean People’s Front?
REG:
F-— off!
BRIAN:
What?
REG:
Judean People’s Front. We’re the People’s Front of Judea! Judean People’s Front. Cawk.
FRANCIS:
Wankers.
BRIAN:
Can I... join your group?
REG:
No. P off.
BRIAN:
I didn’t want to sell this stuff. It’s only a job. I hate the Romans as much as anybody.
PEOPLE’S FRONT OF JUDEA:
Shhhh. Shhhh. Shhh. Shh. Shhhh.
REG:
Schtum.
JUDITH:
Are you sure?
BRIAN:
Oh, dead sure. I hate the Romans already.
REG:
Listen. If you really wanted to join the P.F.J., you’d have to really hate the Romans.
BRIAN:
I do!
REG:
Oh, yeah? How much?
BRIAN:
A lot!
REG:
Right. You’re in. Listen. The only people we hate more than the Romans are the f’ing Judean People’s Front.
P.F.J.:
Yeah...
JUDITH:
Splitters.
P.F.J.:

LORETTA:
Oh. I thought we were the Popular Front.
REG:
People’s Front! C-huh.
FRANCIS:
Whatever happened to the Popular Front, Reg?
REG:
He’s over there.
P.F.J.:
Splitter!
Ted Knight fictionalized the smarmy anchorman. The eunuch in question has brought it to reality.

Trotskyists against Bukuninists (anarchists)
Could care less about the hateful man but was shocked to learn about Tucker.
Keith Olbermoron...
The name says it all.
sorry, im new to which category articles go...
Olberperson is just being a reactionary, he’s only hating on Hill because of Rush’s “support”
They’ve definitely jumped the shark over at DU.
Is there any question that it will be comparing Hillary to Bush to Hitler?
The New York Trotskyites are too busy figuring out what to do about Ho-Gate
The minite I heard Carlson say he like Dick Cheney last week I knew it was over!
Wow, I bet Hillary is quaking in her boots. How many people watch Olbermann-about five?
Keith Olberman is a joke, how many networks/cable channels has he worked for?
Maybe he will go easy on Hillary since they are both big Yankee fans. Or is she Cubs fan? What state is she fomr/in? I hear she has PA roots according to today’s campaigning.
Yeah, I think William Penn was one of her great uncles. Also, she's a huge 76ers fan. And I think she's a practicing Quaker. And her favorite food on the ‘campaign trail’ is a nice Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. And.....
Nah, giving attention to Olbermann just encourages him.
