Hillary Clinton says the Democratic Party is stuck in a very tough spot as party leaders debate whetherand howto seat delegates from Florida and Michigan at the nominating convention this August. And Clinton's latest comments, in an interview with U.S. News yesterday, won't make resolving the fuss any easier.
Many Democrats want a revote in both states, since the Democratic National Committee disqualified all their delegates because the states' primaries were held too early in violation of party rules. Some party officials are suggesting caucuses as an option to get the delegates qualifiedbut that doesn't pass muster with Clinton. "I would not accept a caucus," she told us. "I think that would be a great disservice to the 2 million people who turned out and voted. I think that they want their votes counted."
Florida held its primary January 29 and Michigan January 15. Clinton won both, although Obama's name wasn't on the ballot in Michigan and both candidates agreed not to campaign in either state, in deference to party rules.

Judges are not so stupid or bought off
Obama was not even on the Michigan ballot and never campaigned in Florida because he adhered to DNC rules
Judges will listen to Obama's lawyers
Will look at the original DNC rules and smack her down. Her heinous that is
I think the Clinton's best route is the smoke filled back rooms of the Democrats and buying off super delegates. to vote for FL and MI delegates to be seated.
Plus now I hear the DNC appoints another 78 delegates all on it's own that have nothing to do with any state delegations or primaries
Ha!
I’ll bet plenty of Florida Democrat legislators voted for the Florida primary to be moved up. As did Republicans of course
Hillary wanted this too and pushed the DNC to push for as many early primaries as possible to lock up the nomination/coronation early
THis is prime time for Bill. He’ll be working the phones solid from here on out. Every favor, every chit will be called in

Hillary's personality is monstrous. Calling her a monster fits. Hats off to the Obama aid to had the clarity of mind to say it.
This is what happens when liberals are in charge.
If you do not give them total control and do exactly what you are told to do, they will disqualify you and take away your rights.
This applies to elections, health care and lifestyle.
“I think that would be a great disservice to the 2 million people who turned out and voted. I think that they want their votes counted.”
But what about the great disservice to the people who didn’t vote because they were told the votes wouldn’t count? They wanted their votes counted too, witch.
I agree.
Everyone knew the rules going in.
It isn't fair to change the rules by seating the delegates or to have a do-over election either.
This is the typical democrat approach to life - if you don't like a rule, a law or a tradition you just twist it, stomp on it, ignore it, or manipulate it until you get the result you want.
A do-over election isn't fair because the situation and voter attitudes have changed since the original election date.
Back then voter percept ons and attitudes were different, there were more than two candidates running for the nomination and the votes were spread among them.
Today with only Hillary and Obama running and fighting over the nomination down to the wire the vote would be entirely different.
And what would happen if the outcome changed significantly and one candidate lost a lot of delegates?
Wouldn't they want to challenge the do-over? File a lawsuit?
In Florida eight candidates names were on the ballot and the playing field was level - none of the candidates had campaigned in the state.
Here are the original Florida results.
You can see why Hillary would like the delegates seated.
Florida Democratic Presidential Primary
Clinton -- votes: 870,986 -- delegates: 105
Obama -- votes: 576,214 -- delegates 67
Edwards -- votes: 251,562 -- delegates 13
Gravel -- votes: 5,275 -- delegates: 0
* Biden -- votes: 15,704 -- delegates: 0
* Richardson -- votes: 14,999 -- delegates: 0
* Kucinich -- votes: 9,703 -- delegates: 0
* Dodd -- votes: 5,477 -- delegates: 0
-------------------------------------------
Total votes: 1,749,920 Total delegates: 185
* Biden, Richardson, Kucinich and Dodd had dropped out before the Florida election but their names were still on the ballot.
.
while Hillary did not campaign in Florida. She had the Teachers unions do it for her. She is a cheater but no surprise. As for the many votes in Florida, they had a property tax amemdment on the ballot thats the only reason so many dems voted.
“There are two sets of rules, one for the Clinton’s and one for everyone else.”
And so now you can really see how the bad precedent practically enables emulation by the likes of Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and his posse. It’s the complete package.
I have started to believe that Herself will be a easier opponent in the G/E. If B. Hussein O. is the candidate, we are in for months of the left screaming ‘racism’ at the right for any and all comments made by any Republican. Enough people are sufficiently cowed by this type of charge to the point that they stifle their views. The dirt on Herself and the Sink Emperor is more than adequate to bury her.
“If you do not give them total control and do exactly what you are told to do, they will disqualify you and take away your rights.”
If you do not give them total control, they have to break the law and violate your constitutional rights before they have what they want.
It is always so nice to see trouble in my enemy’s tent.
To Her Thighness, there’s no advantage like an unfair advantage.
But she may go for this new idea of mail-in votes as soon as her machine prints a few million of them.
“What will happen to Edwards, and the other candidates who were still on the ballot? when these prmaries were held.. their voices should be heard as well as just Mrs Clinton, wife of impeached ex president and obamas..”
Ding Ding Ding..... Edwards should be allowed to campaign in both states and he should get matching funds to whatever Hillary and Obama spend. By the DNC of course.
That statement is so true.
These are the same sentiments being posted over at DU. I've been lurking over there and let me tell you, the Clinton and Obama camps are at each other's throats! It has been enormously entertaining!
Who would be dumb enough to try to "ensure the integrity of the process" of a Democrat election?...and in Florida!!!!!
The world knows that FL Democrats can't run an election.
Before this Democrat fiasco is over they are going to find a way to blame George Bush and Republicans. Just wait...it's coming!
Well, Obama collected twice as much money in Feb as Hillary, 55 mil vs. 35. So he can print up even more mail-in ballots than she can.
Won’t it be funny when the Fla do-over results in 65 million votes Obama vs. 55 million votes Hillary?
By the way, the idea that the state should pay for this do-over election that the DNC has screwed up is beyond ridiculous.
“One statement by Hillary Clinton is totally wrong....”
Ah, lying for convenience, nothing new there in the Clinton playbook ...
Both states are clear: They wont pay for a do-over.
“No do-over. I want the results where I win after I was the only one on the ballot”.
