Is he including Al Qaeda guest workers aka terrorists that are here thanks to our porous borders? Someone should ask him to his grinning power-hungry egotistical face.

Republican and Democrat voters alike were outraged at the amnesty bill. It wouldn’t have been derailed if it had just been us. Even DU was up in arms over it. Obama’s a wild card, but I think Hillary would listen to the people on this one just to save her own skin. McCain won’t. It’s his pet issue and he’s an arrogant bastard who doesn’t care what we think. I will not vote for Hillary, but neither will I vote for McCain. I think this country will be better off when he slinks back home, never to be heard from again. Of course, he’s not confident enough to give up his Senate seat. This nation’s only hope is for us to elect Republican congressman who will fight against the feces that whomever is elected will sling at us.

"It is a national security issue with America and it is also a Judeo-Christian issue with America."

Illegal immigration a Judeo-Christian issue?

He has gone completely Looney-Tunes.

Will you really trust this man with nuclear weapons?

We’ve had guest worker programs for decades. McQueeg just wants more.

There he goes again. Don't be fooled. We must derail Mccain

He said "temporary workers" - that doesn't necessarily equate to amnesty. I think he was badly burned with his amnesty proposal and he won't be trying it again. But if you have doubts, remember this is why we need more real conservatives in Congress as well as a Republican president.

Nope. That was the correct response.
I don’t know if we can believe him, but, once the border is secure, the rest can be negotiated - guest workers, amnesties, etc.
We just have to negotiate REAL HARD.

He should go to jail for supporting amnesty. He will be sworn to uphold the laws and the Constution if he is elected. You’ve been warned he will be lying.

I heard what he said. The old goat is as determined as ever. He'll be stopped dead in his tracks, just like we did with Bush (and him) last go around.

He's obviously Hispandering right now...more votes, my FRiends.

Yup, especially the Judeo-Christian term. The Roman Catholic church is very much behind illegal immigration and taking care of them once they are here, because over 90% of mexicans are Roman Catholic.

The Roman Catholics want to boost their numbers here. The other part of this is Liberation Theology - they feel it is acceptable to break their nation’s laws they believe are morally unjust, and they feel it is unjust because it’s a rich/poor issue for them. The haves deporting the have-nots. That is worse than illegals breaking the law to be here, and even stealing others’ identities.

Liberation Theology says if you are poor, there are some cases of the poor doing illegal/immoral things that are not sins (when you are poor) that would normally be a sin if you weren’t poor. It is marxist in its origins.

"I believe we need temporary workers," he said. "I believe I can back that up with statistics."

How about deporting a million gang bangers, welfare cheats and reconquistadoras and we'll give you a million temporary worker visas, or maybe even more. That's negotiation and compromise.

What McCain co-sponsored last year was surrender-- everybody stays and Americans and legal immigrants have to pay for it.

They are having anchor babies so they can all stay here and get welfare.

We stopped amnesty before against the odds and we’ll do it again no matter who sits in the white house. Personally I won’t encourage the GOP to continue running leftward by voting for him.

That position is actually pretty reasonable.

Problem is, I think he’s lying by omission. He goes from securing the border straight to temporary workers, skipping over all the political unpleasantness about what to do about all the illegals already here.

“Nope. That was the correct response.”

Nope. The correct response would have been.

“I’m truly sorry, but I must have been on crack the day I signed onto Mccain-Kennedy. If you elected me President, I will build the Hunter fence within 60 days. I will sanction all employers who hire illegal aliens. I will eliminate by executive order all services to illegal aliens. I deport any and all illegal aliens apprehended. I will use the bully pulpit to push Congress to repela the anchor baby nonesense. And just as a good faith gesture, I am announcing today that I am appointing Tom Tancredo to be my illegal alien czar.

That would have been the right response.

Nice list. You should also add McCain's vote against the Cornyn amendment.

Here are the Senators who voted against the Cornyn amendment , which would have established a permanent bar for gang members, terrorists, and other criminals looking to snag a shamnesty visa. Republicans underlined:
