I was for change before I was against it.

Up in the top corner of the page. No drop downs, though.
To search by user, key in by:username
. To search by keyword, just type it in, to search by title, you can also just key that in, as long as it isn't a keyword it will give a title search. To be safe, you can use title:some article title here
to force a title search.
I'm going to make a few adjustments that will make this a little more apparent, with those changes I think most people will catch on after a few uses.

I like the format changes and tabs, but one comment: some things seem harder to read, maybe due to a different font? Such as the columns on the right for Breaking News, etc. Some of us don’t have such good eyesight!

I really don't like the way it always switches to article views. I'm very accustomed to comment views and I constantly have to manually switch it back every time I check my ping section.
I know, you can't teach an old dog new tricks. And after almost 10 years here I have seen many changes. This one effected me more then any other.

Good. Like the poster up thread, a post editor would be great.

Something I’ve always wished we could do, is search our mail, maybe by date. It takes forever to go back and try to find something from a couple yrs ago.
Is that possible?

I like the cleaner headers; it is much easier to get to what I want to read.
The font on the right scroll is less readable to me, perhaps because it is different than the articles.
I’m so used to the articles’ Times New Roman(?) that other fonts on FR confuse my simple mind.
:-)
But you da man. I’ll salute whatever you put up, and help pay for it too.

Beautiful! I love it!! Congratulations!!!
Also, I really liked that you had a featured article at the top of the Forum page yesterday and the day before; I would encourage continuing that feature. The article was very special.

I like the tabs for Articles, Comments and Activity.
Moving all the topic lists over the the right is nice, too.
I think it's easier to read and less "noisy".
Good Job!

I cant begin to count the times that I have previewed a post and then posted it, only to see a grammar error or something that isnt right about it. Oops, too late. I agree. A 1 or 2 minute time interval to change a post is common for many message boards, and easy to implement.
