I am not so sure. It will all depend on to what lengths Hillary goes to grabbing the nomination. Stronger and stronger attacks on Obama, stealing delegates, aborgating the rules as regard FL and MI...all of this could lead, particularly if she is successful, in so alienating Obama and his supporters that they do not accept it.

Either way, the dirt comes out on both for all Americans to see because you can bet every bit of it remains front page news. To the extent that it alienates some in the democratic party, and displays the unbelievable stances and actions of both to all Americans, it cannot but help McCain's campaign against either or both.

If they really did manipulate our elections early on by voting in our primaries, they created a situation where we essentially had our nominee settled early, leaving millions of (unenthusiastic) Republican primary voters with nothing to do but mess with their elections.

I agree. Good thinking. I’m so anti-McCain that I really cannot imagine being happy no matter which of the three wins the GE.

In one way, Obama would be the one we could most obstruct. It would not be pretty but there is no way we could obstruct McCain. I made the claim last night on the live thread that a cleaver handful of conservative Senators could be pretty effective in train wrecking Obama’s agenda. McCain will cross-over and all of his crap will go through.
