... Unless The Witch (and I only use that word to be polite, the word I’d prefer to use is the one that rhymes with it)...
Ahem... unless the Witch convinces Obama (by WHATEVER means) to take the VP position. Then ALL Democrat strife is instantly GONE, the party unifies behind the annointed one and the annointed-one-to-be, and that doddering old Mummy (McCain) walks out of this election with 1,592 votes (including his immediate family).
That’s the depressing scenario that Rush’s idiotic marching orders has made possible.
“Forget the long-term strategy, she’s back and stronger. It’s time to be nervous again.”
I’m not getting nervous, I’ve accepted that Clinton will win the WHouse. I’ll let all of these morons Republicans who voted for Clinton and followed Rush off the cliff - do the sweating.
She will win the nomination now. Obama was a lightweight and he won’t know what hit him. Next step is the Clinton’s get Mich/Fl to revote...she wins PA big like Ohio...SuperDelegates follow Clinton and Blacks have no argument to even be pissed now so no fractured Convention.
I will listen to Limbaugh today to here that moron claim victory...his legacy will be he was outplayed by the Clinton’s.
You’re an emotional, short-sighted idiot. The last Democrat I voted for was in ‘76. I’m not going to waste time proving my conservative creds to you except to explain why so many of us are upset.
Many of us worked hard donating both time and money for a candidate who tried to unseat an entrenched incumbent. We rely on the conservative base showing up to vote in the Republican primary. When Rush and Laura tell voters to cross over, candidates down ballot suffer.
CNN exit polls last night said the majority of Republican crossovers voted for Obama.
“The Foxes just had Hillary on and asked what she would say to Rush for his encouragement..... She said Be careful what you wish for....”
Now that is something the “smartest woman in the world” would say-
That’s advice Rush should have listened to.
Obama’s connections to radical Islam scare the heck out of me. And I don’t think he would be a pushover in the general as many seem to think. This is not an election, it is American Idol folks.
Or maybe you're already a member.
I'd even be surprised on this match BUT, x42 took Gore and shoved him into the background never to be really heard thru his Presidency so it could be a possibility...
RB, you have my nomination for post of the day. Hell, the WEEK!! :^)
I suspect that she was well aware of WHY Rush was advocating for her.... cause she is the only one mean enough on the political stage to lay a glove on Obama. And Rush wanted this liberal infighting to continue up to their convention....
In PA, we have until March 22 to change party affiliation, but then you couldn't vote for local and state GOP candidates. There is no governor or senate race in PA this year, so changing party and voting for Obama might be an alternative for some who don't have important local races to consider.
More people dislike Hillary - including Dems - than dislike Obama. The MSM has slobbered all over McCain in the past, and conservatives have railed against him. That could make McCain more palatable to Dems who can’t stomach voting for Hillary.
Obama is looking much like Bill Clinton looked during his first run for POTUS. There were stories of corruption and scandal all around him, but the faithful would hear none of it. Obama has them screaming “I love you” and fainting in the aisles. It’s going to take a lot to remove the blinders from those so blinded by emotion.
I’ll admit that it is risky to give aid to a Clinton when the political stake is so near the heart, but we must recognize that there is danger from Obama as well.
We know Hillary. We are only beginning to know Obama, and with precious little help from the MSM. Some think we’ll have more success beating the devil we know. Regardless, it’s useless to blame Rush for having his opinion. He can’t make a decision for anyone other than himself in that voting booth, and each of us is responsible for our own vote.
We may not like either or any of the options, but the more I learn about Obama and his connections, the more wary I am about him being handed the reins to “change” the most powerful nation on earth in case he should defeat McCain.
It’s a long time until November and a lot can happen in the meantime. When all is said and done, God is still in control regardless of what happens. Whatever we do, we’d better be praying. I know I am.
Mathamatically without any antics from camp clinton, she cannot win. Now if you start seating Michigan and Florida, If you use superdelegates and she is the nominee, i think she alienates alot of the the dems because you know they do the ‘its not fair’ dance. The disinfrachised ...blah blah. If she steals this from the wonderboy, she’s done and she would almost have to in order to win.
So as some of you want to act like Dems and kick dirt and blame rush assuming that none of these people are thinking. For those who are buying that, you might want to consider changing party affliations. The dems are the party of people are too stupid to make up their own minds.
By way of disclaimer, i myself crossed over long before Rush came up with it. At first i was going to vote obama when it looked like HIll was going to win with a landslide and obama needed the state. But the more i look at him. He’s an empty suit that is the pied piper, i changed and went with Hillary. In the end they are destroying their party mostly becuase democrates don’t have moral compasses and ethic. So let ‘em and if i can help by keeping 2 of them in there, then i’m going ot help and i don’t need Rush Limbaugh to tell me to do it. In the end, I’m glad to see he was smart enough to think of what i did. Not he told me what to do. Get a grip people.
I dont like McCain, But i will vote for Mccain. That’s the bumper sticker we need.
Nervous about what? I fear a Marxist Obama president more than Hillary. Atleast we know what she stands for. Obama was voted the most liberal senator in Washington. People will line up to vote against Hillary. People detest her.
Exactly
But apparently we're not.
There may be other Rush "ulterior motives". For example, they bloody each other up so much that it would be impossible for them to run together on a ticket. Another motive may be to get the parties to rethink having open primaries. It angers me that Democrats and Independents got to decide the GOP nominee before conservatives had a substantial say in the matter.
