ABC News' John Berman and Jennifer Duck Report: Senator John McCain, R-Ariz., who clinched the Republican nomination with clean sweep of wins in Texas, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont on Tuesday, will visit the White House on Wednesday.
There, according to sources close to the McCain, the Republican Senator will receive the endorsement of President George W. Bush.

True, and what would people be saying if Bush DIDN’T endorse McCain? That would be odd. Of course Pres. Bush is endorsing McCain now that he’s the presumptive nominee, and appropriately so.
No kidding......
Keep talking! :)
So what are your choices -
#1 open borders and surrender the WOT with the democrat OR
#2 open borders and win the WOT with McCain.
#2 looks better to me. And even that is a worst case scenario. He says he heard the complaints, and that he’ll secure the borders first before pursuing any immigration plan.
Hillary and/or Obama thank you.
“Feel free to compromise conservative principles by supporting evil.”
You vote for evil no matter who you vote for. No candidate is perfection. Reagan had issues. So did Goldwater.
Stop making so much sense. Actually, don’t.
I totally agree. McCain is not the first choice (certainly not mine by a longshot), but he is the best choice we’ve got.
I haven’t come as far as you have by actually donating to his campaign, but I’ll cross that bridge soon probably, much to my dismay.
And anyone who thinks President Bush should endorse Hillary or Obama over McCain needs some quiet time in a padded room.
“Im not a big fan of McCain... but hes far better than BHO or HRC.”
It comes down to the lesser of evils. There is absolutely NO WAY I will vote for either of the Dims.
In all fairness his endorsement will be for McCain as president over whoever the socialists nominate not an endorsement of McCain for the GOP nomination. Its proper for a sitting president not to endorse someone for the nomination. But it sounds silly because...um...like he would really endorse Barack Fitzgerald Obama or the former first co-dependent.
A big reason I am supporting John McCain happens to be the 140,000 troops we have in harm’s way.
Not a single one of them had a vote on immigration.
Not a single one of them had a vote on McCain-Feingold.
They were sent there on OUR behalf by those we elected. They DESERVE our total support and there is only one person running for president supporting those troops. There is only one person running for president who wants those troops to achieve victory. Only one.

Well, the "immigration" thing really amounted to amnesty. Also, don't forget the Gang of 14 or voting against tax cuts.
What an awesome candidate. McCain rules!
I call BS.
Nobody said that RR was perfect. I liked him because he actually had principles. Are you trying to say that Reagan was evil?
The fact that you actually have to try and smear RR to justify McAmnesty really says a lot about him.
McQueeg is Hank Hill’s Dad.
That refers to all of that other crap that those pesky conservatives are always talking about.
None of that matters now, though. Mac's backTM (pardon me whilst I puke) and we have no choice but to suck it up, check our conservatism at the door, and vote for McAztlan. Or else!
And you’re willing to sacrifice the troops we have fighting on OUR behalf.
Tell me which of those 140,000 troops voted on any of these issues that you McCain haters are so concerned about?
No, you see, it’s more important for you to have your temper tantrums, threaten to stay home to teach the republican party a lesson. In the meantime, the lesson you teach is to the troops. And it is this. We send you to war and we abandon you because we need to have a temper tantrum. It doesn’t matter that you’re fighting for us. It doesn’t matter because we need to teach the party a lesson.
McCain 2008.
#2 looks horrible. The GOP will never stop dishing out big government candidates if that Ford-wannabe wins.
It matters not what I think. McCain struggled to get 51% in Texas and he wrapped up the nomination weeks ago. He has no chance come Novemember.
um, creek injun,

McCain 2008
bad attempt at twisting her words
False Dilemmas and insults aren’t going to win any voters for McCain.
"You vote for evil no matter who you vote for."
There's her quote. Read it yourself.
