John McCain is the nominee.

The banshee needed BIG wins in Ohio and Texas to have a shot.

The "banshee"...I love that word and use it all the time. ;)

Wrong. Before Tonight he needed 639 Delegates from the 1344 remaining.

After tonight only 974 Delegates will be left. Obama will need only 438 of the remaining delegates. He'll get them.

Do the math yourself:

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/02/29/delegate.counter/index.html

He is the nominee.

In complete agreement. You stated exactly how we need to look at things now. Time to bite the bullet, support our Party, and go forward while bringing conservative pressure on McCain.

I hope you are right but the early voters in far west Texas favored the beast:

HILLARY CLINTON---Dem---34838---69.05%
BARACK OBAMA---Dem---14599---28.94%

I understand.

But, with McCain and the current disarray in the democratic party we might get a coattail effect.

Chin up.

“He is for Nuclear power though.

Thats the best offer on the table.”

Nope. Oil and Natural Gas in the Gulf, Alaska, and California and coal are the tickets to energy independence.

“consertive pressure” ...meaning pressure from conservatives. I think my previous post was unclear.

“Time to bite the bullet, support our Party,”

Didn’t your mother tell you biting bullets is dangerous? As is being a party hack?

What candidate is right on global warming? answer me that.

Are you agreeing that there is no fundemental difference between them on that issue?
I can list a hell of a lot of issues that have that characteristic.
