I would rather have a national primary 6 months before the general election. At least the we wouldn’t be bombarded with so damn many commercials. I think I have seen just about enough “3AM” commercials to last a lifetime.

McCain’s counting on the Independent and disenchanted Dem vote and it might work, I don’t know.
But be under no illusion that McCain cares about the conservative vote and be under no illusion that at least I am not fooled.
It might get him elected and quite a few conservatives will probably hold their nose and vote for him but McCain does NOT care about most folks on this forum.

With about 4% reporting there is a long way to go. The 4 biggest counties have barely started reporting. The heavy black districts out weigh the hispanic ones.
