Yes, my dear, he did.
Obama phone home!
From a Chicago Sun-Times op-ed:
http://www.suntimes.com/news/commentary/823666,CST-EDT-edit04b.article
For months, Sun-Times investigative reporters have had a standing request to meet with Obama, face to face, to get answers to questions such as these:
How many fund-raisers did Rezko throw for Obama?
Obama is donating $150,000 to charity that Rezko brought into the campaign. But how much in all did Rezko raise?
Did Rezko find jobs for Obama backers in the Blagojevich administration or elsewhere?
Why did Obama only recently admit — after Bloomberg News broke the story — that Rezko had toured his South Side mansion with him in 2004 before he bought it?
Dribs and drabs of people’s lives have a most unfortunate way of coming out in trials.
Hmmmmmmmmmm........ let’s hope.
I completely agree. I’ve voted more than once AGAINST the other guy...but I’ve never voted for someone because I was deeply fearful of the other two.
I know I’ll vote for McC- but I’ll hate doing so..
You know what’s up, so no need to repeat it all here,
But I don’t think he has a clue as to how conservatives think.
Powell let the Administration twist in the wind for months over Plame when he knew all the time that the leaker was Armitage. He was protected by the media for years because he was their favorite leaker.
McCain touts his integrity, of which he really doesn't have all that much. Powell has even less.
Mark is having an interesting conversation with a protester voter.
Grrrrrrr. Just when I really need her. What’s the fine fir that? =)
McCain & Powell = “Back stabbers Ticket”.
Dr’s office. She will be back for tonight.
She has to buy a round of drinks for all of us when she gets back. And she has to clean the Lounge tonight. ;-)
Psst.
Sweet column: Obama’s 2003 IVI-IPO questionnaire may be getting closer scrutiny. Read document here.

Me, too, as long as the VP is a conservative. A non-hyphenated conservative.
Missed the first hour. Reading to catch up. :)
LOL!
Ok. That sounds fair.
There are two things McCain could do to make me like him, vote for him, even enthusiastically campaign for him.
One, McCain himself could DO something. All I hear over and over is that I should be a good doobie Republican and vote for our guy, shut up, yada, yada. Well why can’t McCain, who is still a senator mind you, go on the floor of the Senate and put forth a bill to eliminate that joke of a campaign finance reform? How about he at least take out that bit shutting us up for thirty days before an election? The bill has been one of the worst laws ever written, it didn’t solve any problem and in fact, it made things worse. So why, if McCain really wants to prove his conservative sincerity, can’t he do something to prove himself to US?
Hey, I don’t even care if the thing passes. I’d just like to see McCain do something besides march out one political elite after another who then DEMAND that we vote for the guy us Blue Bloods have appointed.
OR...yes, McCain’s choice of a VP matters, at least to me. He could pick a very good VP and make me a little happy.
But Colin Powell? That would be another slap in the face to conservatives but McCain doesn’t like us anyway and he pays us little mind.
But hey, I’d be open to the Mississippi Gov...Barbour. Or Condaleeza would be great although I understand that’s not likely.
If McCain comes up with some oh so obvious RINO as a VP choice....Christ comes to mind...whose that cute guy from Tennessee? But if McCain comes up with another RINO for VP, which I am quite sure he will because he just flips us the bird constantly, well what little enthusiasm I have will die like a guy without his needed viagara.
