I live in Ohio and am in a bit of a quandry. I do not care very much for McCain, but will probably hold my nose and vote for him in November if he chooses a true conservative as a running mate.
The fact that I hate Hillary and Obama is without question.
My quandry is this: McCain has the Republican nomination, so I'm thinking about voting for Hillary to help keep her in the race. From my perspective, keeping her in the race will severely damage the dimmocrap party for months to come.
It may also lead to Obama supporters staying home in November if she wins the dimmocrap nod.
The problem is, if she wins, I will not be able to sleep for four years.
I respectfully disagree with you.
The Clintons have a successful "war room" and a near strangle hold on the MSM...just look at the shift in reporting over the past few days.
Besides, what candidate who did not hold the media in the palm of his or her hand could lose 11 primaries in a row and still be considered a "viable" candidate in a "closely contested" primary season????
Mrs. Clinton and her minions own the media. And this makes her an unbeatable foe.
End the Clinton political era now or live with it for the next eight years.
Defeat Hillary NOW
Then why has she lost the past 10 primaries
I’d just stay away from voting on the other side. I did it here in WI and felt dirty for days. If I Could go back I wouldn’t do it again.
My Opinion: Obama is going to be much easier to beat, If Hilde wins TX & OH I’d say that’s an indicator that the Dems are figuring that out.
2nd if she wins, and pulls out a win over McCain, do you want that on your conscious, same concept with Obama. You don’t want to be associated with pulling the lever for either of these clowns ever.. Just thinking about it is making me sick.
No, not really.
McCain against Obama shines. McCain again Mrs. Clinton is muted.
I report, you decide ;-)
Don’t forget how important some of our local and state primaries are. If you get a Democrat Ballot you will not get to vote for Republican House and Senate nominees. We need to make sure the conservative candidates get on the NOv. Ballot. Think before you do this!!!
Never vote for evil.
We’ve not been given a choice.
Obama's novelty on the other hand has started to fade, and even if it hasn't and he does become president, I will be able to live with it. If Hillary wins, I will drive up north and jump into the Grand Canyon. Ok, not really..
The chessboard, as it stands: We know McCain is going to have the party’s nomination. And almost every time Hillary opens her mouth, her numbers go lower. So this going to be a battle between extreme liberal Obama and our conservative values/principles, or what’s left of them.
So if you have the chance, vote Hillary, for the reasons stated in this thread. She’s unlikely to get the nomination of her own party, much less win the general election. If, by some absolute miracle, she were to get the nomination, she will have been politically weakened and mincemeat for McCain.
Well, actually, she's lost the past 11 primaries.
But, if she wins Tuesday, the losses, which she's not conceded, are moot.
Additional and major losses on Tuesday for Mrs. Clinton are the only way to end her national political career.
I'm hoping we're smart...smarter than Rush, smarter than spin, smarter than conventional wisdom....and do everything in our limited power to send her back to the Senate. NOW!
You asked for input.
- What running mate McCain chooses is irrelevant. VPs don’t mean squat. I don’t need to know running mates to know I will vote for McCain compared to Hillary or Obama. Its a no-brainer. That is unless you want more Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s.
- vote for Hillary and help keep her in the mix so Obama and Hillary can teat each other apart. (I also understand the “take her out - leave no doubt” strategy and can live with her being taken out. :-)
Disagree. If she wins even one primary on Tuesday, she will get the nomination, whatever it takes.
And, we lose.
Why even a dilemma? Because a half-witted radio loudmouth so worshipped here now in the post-literate days (W.F. Buckley is dead and so is literacy, doncha know?!) says to? I beg your pardon. YTo vote for her wouyld be to vote for the criminal enterprise that she and her sometime husband lead. Yes, criminal, and shame on you who invent perverse reasons to vote for a Charles Manson!
robomatik, I can't comment on what you should do. As for me I would never vote for Hillary or Obama even under penalty of death.
I beg to differ. I hang around a lot of Chicago blacks during the course of my daily job and they are absolutely livid at the thought that Hillary! might try to "steal the election" (their words) with the Super-Delegates.
“how could you consider ignoring everything thats been discussed here for the last 10 years?”
Bulls eye.
So what if they do? == The media will repair the tear.
Get rid of the Clintons now...and McCain will get rid of Obama later.
It really is this simple.
If Obama wins in Nov, you will wish for Hitlery.
Check his background with Ayers, Rezko, etc.
Obama makes Hitlery look like a conservative.
What if the Hildabeast eeks out the nomination and then actually does win the election
Bad as it would be, it still wouldn’t be as bad as Obama. NOTHING could be worse than that!
