I live in Ohio and am in a bit of a quandry. I do not care very much for McCain, but will probably hold my nose and vote for him in November if he chooses a true conservative as a running mate.
The fact that I hate Hillary and Obama is without question.
My quandry is this: McCain has the Republican nomination, so I'm thinking about voting for Hillary to help keep her in the race. From my perspective, keeping her in the race will severely damage the dimmocrap party for months to come.
It may also lead to Obama supporters staying home in November if she wins the dimmocrap nod.
The problem is, if she wins, I will not be able to sleep for four years.
I want hillary out but I don’t want obama to have too much momentum
I’ll be doing the same thing in Texas...
Just like he was in 2006, Rush is wrong now.
I love the guy, but he lost his strategic edge two years ago and has not found it.
Mrs. Clinton, no matter what Rush says, is the tougher national candidate.
Sure you believe that and if bill clintoon ends up on the supreme court we will have you to thank.
Obama's momentum is the least of our concerns.
Ending the Clinton political reign of terror is paramount.
Here in Illinois, it was pretty pointless to cross over and vote for Hillary! because Obama had everything sown up. It would have been a wasted vote.
In a tight contest like OH, your vote will have more meaning.
YES!
No he won't. If she gets the nod....McCain should start writing his concession speech.
Then we need to end the Clinton political reign of terror and eliminate this possiblity. (Obama will NOT pick her.)
Hitlery isn’t the tougher candidate.
I have been following elections for decades including working in Reagan’s Gov. campaign.
The mentality of the people today is not like the people 50 years ago or 10 years ago.
A vast number are sucked into Obama like the people were with Hitler in 1936.
Also with the MSM and public education pushing for this type, people need to get a clue.
Spin, just spin.
Even if the Dimms EVER run out of money (not likely), the MSM will fill in.
End the Clinton's political strangle hold now!
yoou should vote for her and Repubs in Texas should do the same.
That way he starts having the air in his ballon let out.
Assuming that response was serious....
Before you decide - First look at your candidates for the house and senate. Are there more than one Republican running for a seat in House or Senate? If there ia one that is more conservative than the others and you may want to make sure that he/she is the candidate in November. If that is the case, then keep that Republican ballot and vote to make sure we have a conservative choice for legislature in Nov.
I’m keeping my Republican ballot to vote for Harkin for Hobson’s old US House of Rep seat - Dist 10. Harkin is very conservative and more conservative than even Austria. I want the most conservative in the House of Rep. Hobson was a disappointment and sided with Pelosi too many times. Hobson is endorsing Austria - so I must vote against Austria.
If I lived in Texas or Ohio I would definitely vote for HRC in the primary. Keep a wedge in RAT solidarity and force the candidates to spend their campaign funds in a bitter and divisive nomination battle....regardless of what the tutt-tutting morlalists here say.
You are correct. McCain is in big trouble. We have a president of our party with a 30 % approval rating, and an unpopular war, an economy heading south, a party supporting a very unpopular trade policy and just the fact that the Repubs have held the White House for eight years is going to make this a very tough race for any Republican.
If we had a good candidate, we might have a chance. However, McCain is a terrible candidate. He looks as old as the crypt keeper, he is linked to an unpopular president and an unpopular war, he will lose.
Defeat Hillary NOW. We may never get the opportunity again - Always take the sure thing.
