Dear Britt: Next time, for maximum effect, wave these violently back and forth over your head while simultaneously making the traditional "BOOGA-BOOGA-BOOGA!" noises:

If Mr. McCain is elected, conservatives would certainly have to stay on his back then.

So what is the problem with doing so now?

If McCain is going to be campaigning as a moderate, conservatives showing dissatification with him would seem to be a positive for him, and it would shore up his moderate bonafides.

Heterodox, huh? Yeah, McCain does swing both ways. Better put some ice on that, Billy.

I heard Hume and my first thought was Hume essentially said..”If its inevitable, quit fighting shut up and take it.” interesting advice.

Dear Britt,

Tell McCain to stop pandering for liberal votes and good press, on the backs of conservatives.

McCain’s a gloabalist as much as any other candidate. Some minor differences, but we’re still heading to the same destination.

I guess Brit thinks there’s a big difference in the overall outcome. So we go over the cliff at 55 MPH instead of 100. Whoop de doo.

Now all of the "Principled Conservative Thumb-suckers" will decry Hume as a RINO or traitor.

There is no satisfying these children!

...little bit heterodox...

Small vocabulary here.

Does heterodox mean amnesty?

From an earlier post

What’s more, Ann Coulter and Tom DeLay aren’t entirely wrong when they bluster that a vote for Mr. McCain amounts to a vote for Hillary Clinton (or, for that matter, Barack Obama). The Arizona senator’s otherwise conservative record is closer to the Democrats on immigration, campaign-finance reform, stem-cell research, global warming, oil drilling in Alaska, waterboarding, Gitmo and, until a recent flip-flop, the Bush tax cuts. In The New Republic, Jonathan Chait concluded that Mr. McCain’s Senate votes made him “the most effective advocate of the Democratic agenda in Washington” during the first Bush term.

Stick it Humme

You will get amnesty with liberal conservative John McCain.

All 18-25 illegals will soon be discovered to be mothers of soldiers serving in Iraq that he won’t deport. Even the ones named Jose and Carlos.

Lay off McCain? NO!

McCain is a Jerk and an ingrate Rino. He deserves all the criticism. Even if Conservatives are nice to him he craps on them at every opportunity. The latest incident with Cunningham is typical.
