I proved I wasn’t a racist by voting for Lynn Swann for Governor in 2006. So now, I don’t have to vote for Osama Obama.
I’m starting to warm up to McCain a little bit. I think there’s a chance he may actually be an honest person, even if I do disagree with him on some important issues.
Even better :)
Barack Aloysius Obama?
She paid $2500 dollars just to eat at a dinner where Obama spoke. Shes convinced hes the second coming.
At the end the question will be can we afford to lose the war on terror and become a ultra socialist nation like Europe? If we want this then let Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama be President.
I'll bet it has. Can't you just hear the gears turning?:
"If I vote for McCain that will teach them both a lesson, but then I won't influence the outcome. If I vote for Obama, and he loses to McCain then I can't blame Hillary. If I vote for Hillary and she loses to McCain then I won't have saved America from Bush light."
Decisions, decisions...
During the first segment with Morris, Colmes mentioned FRee Republic. He insinuated that it was FR who is sending the information about Barak to the media not Hillary's camp.
Anyone else see that segment?
Sounds like a lot of them don't like muslims either.
I’ve heard and read a lot of conservative people saying that they would rather vote for a democrat over McCain, because “it is better having an avowed enemy than a ‘friend’ who is quite likely to stab you in the back”.
Of them, about half are thinking of voting for Hillary because she is more of a realist than Obama, and therefore a little safer. The other half are thinking of voting for Obama because they think that because of his naivety and lack of national political experience he can be better controlled and led by congress and the other ‘powers that be’.
(I’m not saying that either strategy will be correct; Just that it is a not uncommon thing)
OK; I’ll admit that 20% was an exaggeration. I just said that because that was the number given in the survey expected to do the opposite.
But if you think that there aren’t a significant number of conservatives that will NOT vote for McCain, and of them, some number who WILL vote for the (whichever) democrat in protest, you haven’t been paying attention outside of your own little echo chambers.
I haven’t made up my mind yet what I, personally, will do.
But every time I start thinking that I will ‘suck it up’ and vote for McCain he does or says something new to Make me REALLY angry all over again.
They are all screeching about racism within the party L0L
According to another meaningless poll, I will now give you another meaningless result! Yawn!
My sister is a liberal who supported Obama until he made some sort of comment dissing older people. She doesn’t remember exactly what he said, but it turned her off.
Here’s what scares me about Obama.
He’s black. Automatically 90% of the African American population will vote for him, even if he weren’t articulate. Example: Jesse Jackson years ago.
He’s young and kids like that. The MTV watchers will go for him.
He’s handsome like Clinton was, and that also means something to many.
He has a very dignified demeanor. It’s obviously highly choreographed with his head held high shots etc., but nonetheless, this too creates a perception too many voters who don’t go any deeper than the “feeling” they get from the candidate.
Obama is a buffoon. His promises he won’t be able to keep, he epitomizes the adage of function vs. form. He’s all form. It looks good, it sounds good, but it smells really bad.
Hes just articulate enough, just smart enough to maybe pull it off, even though under this hollow shell of a politician stands someone with no business or military experience, little political experience, no international experience (outside his personal life not in a official capacity) and some crazy ideas willing to promise anyone anything as long as it gets him their vote. Obama will answer this question for us soon: Is the office of the President a high school popularity contest?
Pew is also the outfit that loaded with Sorus cash also discovered the non existent 'groundswell' for McCain-Finegold campaign finance reform, if I recall correctly.
Tell me the results you desire, and I will gladly conduct a poll to show those results.
One thing we know McCain. He may be a clymer but he isn’t a communist, socialist or a Muslim. Obama is a wild card for sure. Hillary is just plain nuts for power.
I wonder how many Republicans won’t vote for McCain... it is 40% of Freepers.
I think that all these votes that he has been getting are just the anti-Hillary vote. People won’t vote for him in the general.
