This is the kind of thing that causes a gunman to go on a rampage. I hope this place closes down, because it only takes one person with lots of guns and nothing to lose(HIV infection) to go out and want to get some revenge.

Some people should lose their licenses over this. Cutting corners and putting patients at risk of contracting life-threatening diseases is unacceptable. And it’s not just the fault of the administrator who ordered these dangerous shortcuts, but any doctors and nurses who went along. “Just following orders” should never be an acceptable excuse for exposing patients to unnecessary risks.

I’m dumbstruck. I was a nurse for 20 some years and this practice just is beyond the realm of reality. How any professional in their right mind could participate in this is beyond comprehension.

How about “Lose their liberty” - Jail time is due here.
If a DA can bring charges, I’m all for that too. But at the very least, no one involved in this fiasco should be practicing medicine again.

Now you have the reason why they reused syringes and endocope cleaning solution.
Medicare reimbursements are so low that they encourage short-cuts to save money. Even if it’s just a little money.
This is a good example of why we need looser guidelines for the application of the death penalty. Forty thousand people, plus their spouses and other sexual contacts are at risk of dying from infectious diseases because medical terrorists treated them like lab rats. And we wonder how the Nazis could be so cruel.

When I was giving insulin injections bid to my cat, I never used the same syringe twice. Is it possible they hired morons to clean and prep the equipment between patients? Otherwise, this is attempted murder. I hope the folks responsible are going to be wearing orange jumpsuits very soon.
I just found out my mother was a patient at this facility last summer while being diagnosed with periontitis. They started her on a series of (precautionary)Hepatitis vaccines yesterday.
Sheesh! Dammit!
I hope you sue them out of existance. I can’t believe none of them are in jail right now.
