Why unite with McCain? He never united with us

Posted on 02/24/2008 10:37:58 AM PST by WyCoKsRepublican

Senator John McRINO aka John McCain is seeking the conservative base to unite with him. Many of us haven't forgotten that he never united with us. Whether it be on his kneepads courting Ted Kennedy or spearheading the ramming of amnesty down our throats, we haven't forgotten. This election offers little or no choice. In the words of Billy Preston "Nothing from Nothing Leaves Nothing."

“Imagine Hillary as a life member of the Supreme Court.”

I know. It’s a terrifying thought. Which one do you think would appoint her, Obama or McCain?

Does anyone think McCain will reach out to conservatives, even a little, if he wins the nomination easily?

Just think what it would be if he became president?

How will we stop a Ruth Ginsberg II, and Ginsberg III nomination?

I don’t like the concept of electing “the lesser of 2 evils”. but with Chappaquidick Kennedy proposing another gun ban, I would rather have McCain in the Oval Office than either of the creatures running on the democrat side. I’ll take getting 70% (a broad estimate) of what I want as a conservative with McCain as opposed to getting 10% of what I want, if I’m lucky. I’ll take my chances with McCain appointing justices to the Supreme Court because I don’t want any more Ginsburg’s.

Neither of these clowns should ever be allowed anywhere near the White House.

Yep, and the Rats will never put up anything better, but the Pubbies will, IF they survive the lesson they must be taught. If they don't survive, a new party will field quality candidates.

This is war, it is ALWAYS war. There are always casualties in war, even nations are casualties.

Because Socialism ALWAYS fails, and the nature of man is to be free, America may take a beating, but she will rise again in her own image.

Constitution Party.

It might be the conservative party destined to succeed the GOP, whose passing we shouldn't mourn. The Pubbies had a good very run, over 150 years. But the way they've been doddering since Papa Bush became President, it seems about time to pull the plug.

McCain was asked about this choice, and he said he chose Hernandez because he agrees with his positions.
******************************************************
McCain chose Hernandez because McCain is owned by Soros ,, EXACTLY the same as Obama and Clinton.

You McCainiacs can never give us a reason to vote for McCain. The best you can offer is "You're right. The Senator really is a psychotic, drooling fool, but he's not as bad as Hillary/Obama."

We conservatives have been voting against the lesser of the two evils since Papa Bush ran against Dukakis. One would think that in the twenty years since then, the GOP could have groomed a crop of candidates whom Americans could actually vote for.

McCain’s economic plan is Kemp-Roth-Laffer, like Reagan’s.

McCain says a lot of things. Contrast and compare what he says he's for with what he's actually done.

I will not vote for him. I have been getting emails from his organization for several years. From the first one, I told them that I would not be voting for him for anything. He scares me. My computer guy and I were talking about the people running this year and we both said we would not be voting for any of them. I refuse to vote for the so called better one when all are liberals. No thanks.

Great post! I think a lot of the “Vote McCain or we’ll all die” crowd must be either quite young or lived unchallenging lives. Those of us who’ve been around awhile aren’t scared of the the latest bogeyman; we’ve seen him before.

It amazes me that people don’t seem able to accept that we live under a two-party system and once in awhile the other party’s going to win. And as long as there are enough people on our side who would vote for Satan if he had a “R “ behind his name, we’re not going to get better candidates, because the liberal wing of the Republican party would be perfectly happy to nominate Chuck Hagel or Olympia Snowe next time if we hold our nose for McCain.

McCain has been often wrong but he never has struck me as a traitor.

Well put. McCain: often wrong, never a traitor. Hussein/Hitlery: usually wrong, probably a traitor.

Yes, I do not think it is wrong to question their patriotism. They advocate surrender. They advocate coddling terrorists. They advocate Marxism. The founding fathers....how would they have reacted to these Democrat operatives trying to become President? I guarantee you: Hussein and Hitlery's ideas would NEVER have allowed them to even become legislators, let alone members of the executive branch.
