Why unite with McCain? He never united with us

Posted on 02/24/2008 10:37:58 AM PST by WyCoKsRepublican

Senator John McRINO aka John McCain is seeking the conservative base to unite with him. Many of us haven't forgotten that he never united with us. Whether it be on his kneepads courting Ted Kennedy or spearheading the ramming of amnesty down our throats, we haven't forgotten. This election offers little or no choice. In the words of Billy Preston "Nothing from Nothing Leaves Nothing."

The reality is Obama probably won’t be able to do most of the stuff he says and he knows it.

Thanks for the rationalization.

The damage will be fast, severe and long lasting.

If the polls are to be believed - he can win without us. McCain owed us nothing to get the nomination and he will owe us nothing if he wins in November.

OK, fine... you found a couple issues where he broke with the GOP. How about the hundreds of bills and issues that he showed that he is indeed a conservative Republican?

There is nothing socialist about McCain’s economic plan. Please elaborate.

Some say that an obama presidency would be better just cuz the repubs in Congress would oppose obama, and that the repubs in Congress will not oppose MCcain.

So their thinking is that less bad will happen w/ a dem prez as repubs oppose leftward movement of a dem prez.

I’m not saying I agree - I’m just saying....

In 2016, the GOP establishment & their lapdogs will ask us to hold our noses and vote for P. Bush or else Chelsea Clinton is going to get elected.

We held our noses in 1996 and again in 2000 (lots of FReepers including the Head FReeper adamantly opposed Bush). What did that get us? Government has still grown out of control. McCain wants to stay in Iraq for 100 years. The real issuses (devaluing dollar for example) still aren't being addressed.

McCain has been often wrong but he never has struck me as a traitor. Obama will be a traitor if he gets the chance. So will Hillary for different reasons. She will sell us out for personal aggrandizement. Obama is dedicated to erasing the liberties that have made this country a nation worth dying for.

So quit whining about who is 'reaching out' to whom and vote for McCain--if you're even old enough.

“Why unite with McCain? He never united with us”

Oh...
I don’t know....

Perhaps you could think of that while wondering why President Obama took so much of your paycheck, if you still have one??

Perhaps you could think of that while waiting in line for hours at your local Med Center, wistfully remembering what healthcare USED to be like in America, before it was “Socialized”?

“I’ll settle for going through McCain’s political history for the past 8 years.”

That is your choice. I respect it. But know that you will also be settling for a giant tax hike, three youthful Bader Ginsburgs on the Supreme Court, a nuclear Iran and Al Qaeda, and Hugo Chavez trying to destabilize every friendly regime in central and South America.

If my lawyer recommended that settlement to me, I’d fire him.

Because I do not want a Barak HUSSEIN Obama or another Clinton in the Whitehouse, while we are fighting the Global WOT. McCain has many many faults, including his refusal to water board, yet I trust him by a long shot over them to take the fight to the enemy. Plus, I would rather not have 3 more Ruth Bader Gingsburg judges or worse put on the SCOTUS by Hussein or Hillary.

I’d still rather have four years of McCain in the White House than even one day of Obama or Hillary. I will hold my nose and vote for McCain in November. Then work to make improvements in 2012.

Our country would never recover from the damage that Obama or Hillary would cause! Read through this article at the link below and just think about it!

"The reality is Obama probably won’t be able to do most of the stuff he says"

Don't bitch next year if Hilabama is elected and he actually does what he promises. Even Tammy Bruce said a couple weeks ago that she was appalled that conservatives were really unaware that the democrats would actually attempt to do the things they promised before November of 2006.

I really don’t think people here truly know the meaning of the word socialism. I hope and I pray that we don’t get a real lesson from Hilabama.

There is nothing socialist about McCain’s economic plan. Please elaborate.

The difference is between paper and reality. McCain may well have a conservative economic plan on paper. But if he passes amnesty, he may as well just wad it up and throw it out the window. Amnesty will give citizenship to millions of illegals who will then use chain migration to import their relatives, and this will be followed by millions of additional illegals flooding in to take advantage of the next amnesty. Try implementing a conservative economic agenda while simultaneously flooding the country with millions and millions of people with third grade educations and a craving for freebies.

This is the man John McCain chose to be his "Hispanic Outreach Director." Hernandez is a certified traitor. Born in Dallas, he decided as an adult to become a dual-national Mexican citizen. His last "real" job was serving on Mexican President Vicente Fox's cabinet as his "American Reconquista Director." After that gig ran out, he worked (sic) for George Soros funded internationalist foundations, like the one that published his new book.

The "New American Pioneers" proclaimed in his book are the illegal alien invaders he urges to become settlers in the USA. Hernandez believes all Mexicans and Mexican-Americans in the USA should become dual citizens and consider themselves Mexicans first, "to the 8th generation." He believes there should be no border at all between Mexico and the USA, ever.

And this is the man McCain chose for his "Hispanic Outreach Director." In the past week McCain was asked about this choice, and he said he chose Hernandez because he agrees with his positions. If so, McCain is supporting invasion and reconquista.

Then I read our Constitution, Article 4 Section 4, where it says the federal government MUST protect the states from invasion, and I can only conclude one thing: John McCain is our new Benedict Arnold.

"In his own words: McCain’s radical Hispanic outreach director Juan Hernandez on youtube"
