“Interesting. NEVER racist but interesting.”

How could something called “State of the Black Union” NOT be racist, when something like “State of the White Union” would be condemned on the face of it?

How could something called “State of the Black Union” NOT be racist...

No idea. I just learned about the 'stages of blackness'. And some people actually believe this garbage.

An Obama nomination and election would be a stunning blow to the black victimization that is being articulated on stage. It will be very difficult to explain how a black man [really biracial] representing 13% of the population can be nominated and elected as President. I am sure today the panels will explain it by saying that Obama really isn’t black.

Obama’s Big Push!

Tavis already mentioned 'the inauguration'. Someone standing next to him chatted about "you know who making a comeback" in the primaries. Everyone giggled. 'You know who' will be on the panel this afternoon.

There is a Black Union?

That's what it says on the banners. Funny - Jesse Jackson just announced "Obamarama." HUGE applause.

‘Stages of blackness’ only counts in New Orleans. Most other courts don’t allow it as evidence!

Imagine the outrage if there was a “State of the WHITE Union.” Jesse Jackson would fly in with dollar signs in his eyes to shake down its sponsors.

Why is it that every time I hear the name of that city, the song "Chocolate City" starts playing in my head?

Interesting lineup. Funny, though, I don’t see Condoleeza Rice, Walter Williams, Thomas Sowell, Shelby Steele, Michael Steele, or Herman Cain on this list.

From what is displayed, a few sponsors of this mess are Wells Fargo and McDonalds.

Strike two more firms from the list of businesses that will ever see my money again.

I'm a big fan of Justice Clarence Thomas. I guess this is where the 'stages of blackness' kicks in.
