Says he's "disappointed". I'd be outraged and demand a retraction.

He wouldn’t use such harsh terms against his buddies at the NYT

Reminds people he’s served his country. This guy is vile. “I’m John McCain how dare they ask me this”.

Indeed. Poor ol' Juan McAmnesty is assuredly disappointed. He probably thought the leftist media love affair he had was going to coast him into the Oval Office. Now he's surprised to find that the long knives are out and destined for his back.

I don’t understand.

Didn’t the New York Times just endorse McCain?

Didn’t McCain brag about it in his last debate with Romney?

Oh great...not only is he old, but he’s an old goat to boot. If this was the best the Republican Party could come up with, I’ll stay home in Nov.

Truth is McCain has been in Washington a long time. I imagine we are going to find out all kinds of scandals in the near future.

What a lemon. Picked by suckers.

But looks guilty? This is obviously an NYT smear job. It’s disgusting.

McCain the maverick is about to discover the set-up. His media-darlinghood is about to be revoked.

This is just the beginning. Now that he has the nomination the MSM will continue to attack him until the election.

To this article:

“Oh stop for heaven’s sakes!!”

As for McCain .. if I were innocent I would sue the very hell out of the NYT and I wouldn’t stop until I got what I wanted and soaked them for every single dime I could get out of them. Then I would put the money into a worthwhile charity. If you don’t stand up and DO something about this kind of thing it will continue. There are lots of filthy fingers around this story and it’s time someone actually took them to task for it. If McCain just makes the statements and answers a few questions then he is asking for more. Do it up big John and clear your name for your family and for this country. Otherwise.......

I'm surprised he didn't thank them for the resume enhancement story among expected Democrat cross over voters.

NEW YORK TIMES ENDORSED!!!

RINOs: Enjoy your immolation at the hands of your "friends" at the NYT. This will be a long, slow burn. Hope it hurts, you deserve it.

According to the story in the Times, eight years ago McCain was tempted by a lobbyist and did not give in to temptation.

O-Kaay. That means eight years ago he was a healthy male who did not stray. This is a story because?

I think it says a lot more about the character of the editors of the New York Times than it does about John McCain. A *lot* more.

I'm no fan of Cindy McCain, but she handled herself well. I watched her during the whole press conference. That was pretty interesting, her body language and facial expressions. I raised an eyebrow when she finally spoke, on "what" she said... not her poised delivery.

What I found callous and deplorable was at the end of the news conferencee when Mr. & Mrs. McCain turned and walked away. If you get a chance, watch it. I can't believe McCain didn't offer any "gentlemen" type gesture toward her. He's missing a sensitivity chip... and a code of chivalry.

McCain did NOT look guilty. Save your personal feelings for your posts and keep them out of the headline.

LOL.

1) Wait until he gets the nomination in the bag (check)

2) Write article on an affair where both supposed participants deny the report (check)

3) Throw in a few smears about lobbyist influence (check)

Typical NYT bull$hit. At lease these dumbasses couldn’t hold their fire until September.
