Well, we saw the water leaching onto the track through the asphalt. Sadly, it seems perhaps NASCAR needs to think more about safety of the drivers in a situation like this. They’re always quick to point out the safety errors they perceive the drivers or teams make - but NASCAR itself should be held to a high standard as well.

As I typed this we even had Denny saying that. This is a shame.

NASCAR should cancel this, start tomorrow from lap 1 and let them all use backup cars.
