Actor And Comedian Brad Garrett To Serve As Grand Marshal For California Speedway's Auto Club 500
FRFL'rs --- Deadline to select or edit your drivers is Feb 22 2:00am PST
Thanks buddy. He’s an awesome kid and the USMC is what he wants. I’m, of course, very proud and a little nervous.
He’s doing everything they tell him to get ready.
‘Tis true, but I don’t know who with. Maybe NBC or ESPN (shudder)
If they’re using the same kitty litter they did last week at Daytona it oughtta be real nasty mixed with the water out there today. It threw up all that white dust on the restarts so if we mix that heavy white dust with water today we oughtta have some real thick clay smears on the windshields.
Thank you.
If DJ follows in the footsteps of his daddy, he’ll be great!
Hell, I’d take Crusty the Clown over Rusty Wallace.
That stuff is not fun to get out of your eyes either. It’s tough on the track workers and the audience.
NASCAR should cancel this, start tomorrow from lap 1 and let them all use backup cars.
AMEN!
At least it's under Red.........
Yes kudos to the guy who jumped up on Hornish’s car to make sure Casey could get out. He’s a real hero (not Tommy Cruise)!
I tried to tell him to wait and avoid summertime. But, the boy had his mind made up and it’s a done deal now. Graduation - about a month off - then the yeller footprints
They can’t touch it under red. Have to wait until they’re moving under yellow.
“...then the yeller footprints”
“GET OFF MY BUS!!!”
Not necessarily. I want them to do what’s right. It would appear the track isn’t up to the weather, and they seem to have started earlier than they should have.
The track is just that way when wet... good call / bad call... depends on your perspective I guess.
Jr and a few others think it was premature to start the race when they did. Hard for me to tell out here in the desert highland (where it’s snowing btw :o)
Maybe NASCAR should award points to drivers wrecked because of NASCAR’s bad decisions.
~blush~
Tis true. NASCAR deciding to start a race with those conditions was iffy at best. My race watchin’ partner here has only been watching races a couple of years and he even commented on that water seeping out of the track when they showed it right before the green flag.
NASCAR needs to take care of our guys - their teams as well, and while all involved oughtta think of safety, the organization itself oughtta hold itself to the highest standard.
just my $.02 Sorry it turned into a rant.
yellow footprints.. oh man.. a lot of good men and women have stood on them.. and some stinkers too.. tell him to keep quiet and be alert and eat what they feed him.. and behave. ;-)
When he marches at graduation, that’s when he has made it and can be called a United States Marine.. Good luck!
I remember graduation day well. sigh
Bless you for being the father of this fine young man. Give him my thanks.
They used clumping litter? :)
