“Lebanese Daily Reveals New Facts about ‘Imad Mughniyah’s Career in Hizbullah”
SNIPPET: “On the first anniversary of the assassination of Hizbullah operations officer ‘Imad Mughniyah, the editor of the Lebanese daily Al-Akhbar, Ibrahim Al-Amin, who is close to Hizbullah, published a comprehensive editorial on Mughniyah’s life and his role in Hizbullah. Iranian Official Meets Privately With Hizbullah Leader
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s deputy Mehrdad Bazerpash met privately with Hizbullah secretary-general Hassan Nasrallah yesterday evening in Beirut, and also with Lebanese President Michel Suleiman and other ministers.
Bazerpash also visited the tomb of Imad Mughniyeh, the senior Hizbullah official who was assassinated in February 2008.

Iran’s troubling official statements and actions should serve as a warning to Obama”
SNIPPET: “During his visit to Lebanon on Monday, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif laid a wreath at the grave of Imad Mughniyeh, Hezbollah’s notorious military commander. Mughniyeh was responsible for a host of attacks against American targets, including the 1983 bombings of the US embassy and Marine barracks in Beirut, as well as the kidnapping and murder of American hostages. The significance of Zarif’s action is that it affirmed continuity – of the Islamic revolutionary regime as well as of its regional policy and ambitions.
Zarif’s public and deliberate affirmation was quickly followed by Iranian president Hassan Rouhani’s comment that the Geneva agreement meant that the western powers “surrendered” to Tehran’s demands.”

Reuters this evening published photos taken earlier today showing “Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif… lay[ing] a wreath at the grave of assassinated Hezbollah military commander” Imad Mughniyeh, a terrorist who was killed in 2008 after having spent literally decades killing Americans and others on behalf of his paymasters in Tehran.
Celebrating a mass-murdering terrorist is a bad choice for any Foreign Minister, but the decision by Tehran’s top diplomat to so brazenly honor a terrorist like Mughniyeh, who killed hundreds of Americans, within hours of inking an agreement with the US and members of the P5+1 sends a very negative, and unmistakeable signal about Iran’s true intentions.
Mughniyeh, the leader of Iran’s global terror network, in fact began his career as the mastermind of the deadly 1983 attacks on the U.S. embassy and Marine barracks in Beirut, killing more Americans than any terrorist except Osama Bin Laden. He subsequently engineered the hijacking of TWA Flight 847, as well as the kidnapping, torture and murder of Americans in Lebanon throughout the 1980s, including the CIA’s Beirut station chief William Buckley, who was eventually slaughtered after 15 months of being horrifically tortured on film by Mughniyeh and Iran’s terrorist army, Hezbollah.
