Millions of votes are all nice and good, but don't mean much if their in strategically unimportant locations, and he got *just* enough in the important spots to pull off a couple wins. The electoral college is what mattered/matters.

How does a man who’s come out of nowhere, done nothing and said nothing cast this kind of spell over so many people? What the hell is going on here?

Clinton said she would “sweep” across Texas.

And she used the word "sweep" so as Obama not "one up" her tonight in his already accomplished "sweep." She's trying to stay on par, and also thinks that she can blur the distinction of the two very different "sweeps," in the public's mind..

She is sick in the head and will only go down kicking and screaming and foaming at the mouth.

I like a candidate who will stand up for his rights, because he will stand up for the U.S.A.

Newt and a few others have been talking about the desparities of the Republican turnouts vs the Democrats this year.

Here are the figures for yesterday's primary voting, the final numbers.  This does not bode well for Republicans.

I have had some people from these states pipe up to say that they voted across party lines to defeat Hillary.

That may count for part of this, but I find it hard to believe Republicans did this in large enough numbers to affect this poor showing.

I say that, because it has more or less looked this way all year, and in the early primaries there was no ability to cross over as if it didn't matter.

This may not be indicative of the problem I see it as, but it is interesting none the less, and my very well be an indication of trouble.

He quit smoking

Actually, his wife ordered him to quit smoking so he dosen't do it when she is looking.

:-)

The President in "West Wing" is a lot like Obama in so many ways--that President snuck a smoke whenever the pressure started to take its toll. He would bum the smokes off the secret service agents.

Expect the same from Obama.

Hillary has run the worst campaign in the history of primaries.

Make no mistake about it, _she_ ran the campaign.

So her record is perfect--all hat and no cattle.

I just wish I were her campaign's lamp vendor (if they paid cash on delivery).

:-)

within the dem primary, hispanics should be 20-30% of the total vote. OF course, that depends on how many real repupublicans and conservative dems vote in the GOP primary. (There is no party registration). If there seems to be no race there, and there is a heavy white vote in the dem primary, that would diminish the percentage a bit.

Hillary has run the worst campaign in the history of primaries.

This is why she moved to NY to run for the senate. Perhaps she should have picked another country to rule.
