Look gang. The math just aint there. Even if Huck wins every state left he cannot get to 1195. McCain is going to win some of those delegates in the split states. I don’t see any way Huck can stop McCain even if he runs the whole board and wins every remaining state.

Actually, going into tonight, there were 1215 delegates left in the pool. Some of the states that have voted were "beauty contests" and did not allocated delegates. Those votes come later in more of a caucus setting. There are more than enough out there.

The Reps are better off with Hillary being the nominee. She is the only one who can energize the Rep base. McCain can't. The Reps have a shot at least with her as the nominee. If the nominee is Obama, the Dems win big.

Maryland polls to remain open an additional ninety minutes....
Both Maryland Senators and the Governor endorsed Hillary Clinton.

Here's hoping their endorsements are as effective as Teddy Kennedy's endorsement for Obama in MA.

Double plus BUMP to that hope.

Yeah it is real bad here in south jersey too.

I was going to attend a special Missions Mass tonight, but when I went out to the car, I had about a 1/4 inch of ice on my windshield.

She’s pretty much gettin wiped wherever she shows her face.

I’m wonderin how long it’s been since Billie Bob Boy let her near the family jewels!

If we hear him and he sounds like a soprano, we’ll know!

Hickabee has to win all those delegates. In the split states that means he has too take something like 65-70% of the vote. That is not going to happen.

That’s because Republicans are much more socially advanced than Democrats. There are a large slug of Dems who will not vote for a black man, Dem or Republican.

>> You Obviously have not met my Shih-Tzu.....

That’s true, and clever. Mentioning it doesn’t really add a damn thing to the debate. But hey, way to defuse an argument.

My hypothesis: unlike most of us here, I’ll bet you actually ARE a GOP politician. ;-)

The polling extension in Maryland is bad for Her, in my opinion, because it extends the story of her defeat tonight.

Rather than “7pm: she lost, 8pm: she lost all night,” it is stretched out to “7pm: she lost, 8pm: she lost again, 9:30pm: she lost THREE times!”

In other words, Team Her cannot do effective damage control until after 10 or 10:30 eastern, which puts that part of the story long past most folks attention span.
