A Flag Obama Supporters Salute? (Barack's Houston Office Sports Che "Obama" Guevara Flag)
Captain's Quarters ^ | Feb. 11, 2008 | Ed Morrissey

Oh, my. Barack Obama may want to call his new Houston office and suggest some decorating ideas. Take a look at the flag flying in the office at the moment:

obama-houston.jpg

No, that's not a Texas state flag with a picture of Obama on it. It's the flag of the Castro-led Cuba regime, with Che Guevara's face superimposed on the side. A Fox report from Houston captured this image as it showed Obama supporters celebrating his momentum after Super Tuesday.

Does Obama know his Houston supporters honor a terrorist in his campaign office? I'm sure he doesn't. However, it would behoove him to ensure that the flag gets taken down and that he renounces any affinity for Che and the Fidel Castro regime. (via Jim Geraghty)

Something like this tells a lot. Someone who would display this on their wall cannot be anything but a hard core leftist. Who you surround yourself with is extremely important. What would a picture of Stalin, Castro, or Gus Hall signify? Che is a known quantity. But they will attempt to spin this away as totally insignificant.

“Why it’s just a flag on the wall of a volunteer’s office” and/or “we have serious issues in this country and you are worried about a flag on some volunteer’s office wall?”

Is this photo genuine? The Che pic almost looks like it’s suspended in the air between the wall and the two women; it seems to overlap the small pic on the wall. (By the way, the woman on the right has a nice middle-aged rack.)

The flag is starting to sag too.

Imagine the reverse, the uproar it would cause if a GOP campaign office displayed a Confederate flag or a portrait of Strom Thurmond.

Obama office adores psychotic Marxist thug

Che Guevara, the chief executioner of Fidel Castro’s brutal revolution, was a bank robber, a cold-blooded murderer, an enthusiastic torturer and generally an evil, sociopathic bastard. He’s quite literally the poster boy for everything wrong with socialism.

If you were running a candidate’s local campaign office, what would you put on the wall? Old Glory? The Texas flag? Or maybe the banner of a hostile Communist police state?

Fox has the video.

Really good point, George. After all, Obama is running as the new Kennedy, a little on the dark side (and I don’t mean his skin color) .

"I know that some people will refuse to admit there is a subversive movement going on here, but let me remind you that we have underestimated the will and capability of our enemy for more than 30 years," she added. "They are patient and determined to achieve their radical agenda."

There is a book that all should read***************

Unholy Alliance: Radical Islam and the American Left (Paperback)
by David Horowitz (Author)

**********************

By Kat Bakhu (Albuquerque, NM United States) - See all my reviews

I had long wondered why people on the Left had the propensity to speak more positively about people who would slit their throats than they do about their own country, which affords them more freedom and opportunity than anywhere else. David Horowitz has answered that question thoroughly and convincingly in his Unholy Alliance. Where I felt bewildered and confused, I now feel crystal clear. Unholy Alliance is such a great book.

It begins with the leftist movements at the beginning of the 20th Century, and works its way up to the present day, exploring the anti-American attitude of these movements in detail. Horowitz shows that the enemies of the US back then are largely the same group today, operating under the same misperceptions, making the same mistakes, and pursuing the same impossible utopia.

Individual chapters are included on the Patriot Act (I was persuaded that it is a GOOD thing); the democratic flip-flop on Iraq once G.W. Bush implemented what they agreed with Clinton needed to be done; the driving components of the current anti-war movement; as well as chapters on individual personalities who are major spokespeople of the Left. Horowitz covers a lot of ground, and he covers it concisely and clearly. Unholy Alliance is richly informative without ever being boring or plodding.

This book is so illuminating that I simply cannot do justice to it here. I love people who reason so clearly that they help me get my own reasoning clear. Horowitz is just that type of person! In the terrain of mindless clichés (no-blood-for-oil, etc.), he is a breath of real fresh air.

This man is getting a big time pass right now. I know the mainstream media will continue, but he needs to be exposed—and quickly. Did you see the Hannity/Frank Luntz clip where Hannity asks Frank Luntz to ask the Obama supporters one thing Obama has accomplished. They didn’t know what to say—articulate speaker was all they could come up with.

The Clinton machine can't seem to contain Obama mania so it will be up to the GOP. Hopefully McCain can make him out to be the rookie that he really is and in these troubled times this country can't afford to hand the reins over to a young black radical leftist.

I’ve seen that picture. Is that something that he refuses to do? Has he stated pubically he won’t salute the U.S. flag? I used to have on my home page that I hoped a higher power would mess up Hillary’s plan to become our ruler. Just goes to show you have to be careful what you wish for.
