Pretty funny.
Abject fear of constituents is a healthy thing for legislators.

I talked to a gun shop owner the other day, browsing. Told him that I was looking to buy some firearms if Clinton or Obama won, just in case they tried to restrict purchase of guns. He said that they would be @$$@$$!na+ed if they tried to do so. Way he said it made me sort of think it was likely.

Same attitude that aggravates the hell out of southerners...people ‘from away’ move into an area and try to change the policies that have worked for the natives for decades...back to Cal/Oregon/Mass with you, honey. Henniker and Bradford are rural towns...who elected this idiot?

Exactly! I can’t stand people who move to a state and then try to change it to “they way it was back home”. My attitude is then go back home if it was so wonderful!

It’s about time — something had to be done to stop the shootings of NH politicians by these gun nuts...... oh wait, that’s never happened....

From this dingbat legislator's website:
- Born and raised in Boston
- Attended Northeastern University and graduated from Boston State College
- Board member of the New Hampshire Womens Lobby
Tells me just about everything I need to know about her.

The interview with the bill's sponsor was priceless! The idjit didn't seem to know that Virginia Tech was a gun free zone and her idea for a welcome table (her words) where people can check their guns was truly out there. All an evil person has to do is know where the welcome table is and wow! Look at all the free guns!
I'll bet she doesn't get re-elected.

All 3 parts of that were amazing, especially the turnout of law-abiding gun owners. I was surprised that the interviewer didn’t ask Kjellman (who couldn’t even pronounce her own name correctly) more about her background. She said she taught school in CA and several other states. What the hell is she doing as a state rep in NH? Why doesn’t she stay in a left-wing state?
To: Dada Orwell
Did anyone detect the cracking of the voice in part 2 as she talked about the issue? Almost like she was going to cry. I almost felt like she was going to do the Hillary thing....
As someone else mentioned I loved how she used as an example the Virginia Tech shooting which is the exact type of laws she wants to enact there!!! I wish he would have called her on it. Then a follow up question would be, do you think that if people were allowed to carry on the Virginia Tech campus that a madman like Choi could have had his crimes mitigated?
She said what are the rest of us supposed to do, duck? The answer was yes!!! If only one person had a gun and was killing people indisciminantly what was she going to do anyways? Probably duck. So what’s the difference??
I’ll bet she sees a right in the constitution to kill unborn babies though..
To: Dada Orwell
Oh one other thing. She was talking about an alarm system to warn people in the building that a shooter was in the building. I don’t know, I guess the sound of gunfire would warn me that a shooter was in the building, but that’s just me....
If you can’t hear the gunfire, then I guess you don’t have to worry anyways, right?

"She was talking about an alarm system to warn people in the building that a shooter was in the building. " As I recall, the authorities at Virginia Tech made a decision that the killer had apparently left the campus and decided NOT to warn anybody else throughout the campus. Had there been an alarm system, it would not have been triggered until such time as the killer had already isolated one building full of people for slaughter.

You might duck and be too late. Quite a few bullets can travel faster than the speed of sound. 1085 fps isn’t that fast anymore.
