The Cauci don't begin until 1pm pacific time, but it's never too early to start a live thread.

If you read my post properly you’d see I was talking about the primaries. By all means vote McCain in the GE. But not doing so in the primaries would send a message.
If McCain realises the small margin he’s winning this nom, it may lead him to change his ways and at least TRY to govern conservatively, knowing he’ll NEED the conservative base in the GE.
Huckabee’s calling for an investigation.
It makes me wonder if Algore won in 2000. (half kidding)
Yes
Its too strange...
“At my caucus, several precincts caucused together and Pauls supporters showed up en masse, but only succeeded in getting him a second place finish in the straw poll behind Huckabee. McCain was third, with Romney and Hunter grabbing a few votes as well. One didnt like the question of winning the war on terror. He thought it should be ending the war in Iraq. Too bad, so sad, it wasnt changed and several let him know that winning the war in Iraq is ending it.”
My caucus gave McCain the most delegates, with Huckabee in second place and Romney almost as many as Huck.
My precinct was 80% Romney and 20% Huckabee.
We were unanimous that Immigration was the #1 issue.
Romney’s %16.72 is pretty damn good for some who’s outta the race.
With McCain only getting %25.74, one thing is clear: Romney would have won Washington if he was still in the race.
“But others on here have said that any that caucused for Mitt would not have their delegates counted.”
They were counted: http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P08/WA-R.phtml#0209
“If I didnt get to the causcas,(work) does my ballot mean anything?...they are not due until the 19th.”
Yes.
Nineteen delegates will be chosen Feb 19, so please vote.
I figured things might go like you described so working some overtime on a Saturday seemed like a better choice.
It’s going to be a long wait until 2012. I only hope that the republic is still standing.
Much of Western Washington is very Liberal. Seattle, Tacoma and Olympia areas. Washington’s East of the Cascade side is conservative. If you look at the presidential races by county and especially the last Governor race, most of the state is red. King County (Seattle) however, has a large enough population to dictate for the rest of the state.
I'm glad the race was close, I think it still sends a message that McCain is being rejected by a majority of Republicans!
