Who should McCain's running mate be?
self

Now that we know who the Republican nominee will be, we need to think about his running mate. My ideal vice presidential candidate is Condi Rice. Who is your choice?

McCain is going to pick Huckleberry to get the Conservative / Republican / Christian voters. I think this is the most logical assumption to make at this point. McCain will be pragmatic. Getting booed at the Conservative convention the other night wasn’t fun for him.

You think YOU sank Romney? You’re more delusional than anybody thought. See what happens with all that hate? Brain rot!

Oh well, if that’s all you got, knock yourself out, dj.

Did he really get booed? I thought he got such a warm, welcome reception?

The only problem with that is that there won’t be any cross-overs, and we need them this year.

That would be a problem. If the pick is not a conservative, he could lose even more conservative support than what he has. Im not sure which he needs more. What about you TXBoss? You up for it? :)

Here's my prediction from Tuesday (great minds think alike..LOL I hope neither of us is correct):
My money is betting that if Hillary takes the Dem nomination and gets the Pub, the two "good friends" will join together for the benefit of the nation and he will agree to be her VP. Thus ending our political system as we know it. Remember: I said it first here!

Besides, ole Mr. Sanford has already gone to that big junkyard in the sky to be with Elizabeth... and Aunt Esther. ;-)

Why don’t you just let the same dims who chose McCain choose the running mate? That would be fair, wouldn’t it?

I keep hearing Crist, but think a single guy who’s not even had two years as governor isn’t that strong. Then again, if things go a certain way with the Dems we’re looking at a POTUS with 4 years in the Senate.

He doesn’t give a rat’s ass about getting booed. He probably gets off on it.

You can’t have it both ways. Either you blame me for sinking him or you don’t. If you do blame me, I want full credit for it. :-)

Hillary Clinton. Her running mate can be McCain. Whoever wins the general election gets to be on top.

I don’t care if it’s the ghost of the Gipper, I’m still not voting for him.

I recently saw a couple of Sanford & Son reruns for the first time in years, and thought they were still funny.

“John Kerry. They’re both liberals. Captain Queeg offered to be Kerry’s running mate in 2004, so its only fair.”

Honestly, does this sort of dialogue really help our party? Even the conservative Fred Thompson has just endorsed McCain. Freepers, please stop embarrassing yourselves and accept reason! McCain is a conservative!

The Repubs are weak with women, so Hutchinson might not be a bad idea.

Absolutely. A lot of those ‘70s sitcoms put the crap that passes for sitcoms today to shame. It’s amazing they could write an entire episode of a show without wall-to-wall unfunny sexual overtures (I don’t mind ribald humor, but the key word there is “humor”).
