Your post is exactly what I think. We never really had a choice.

Open borders, globalist candidate McCain, was chosen for us. We WERE had.

Fred was never serious. Romney might have been, but he was demonized by Huck and the MSM.

Whole thing was a sham. i take comfort in the fact McCain, Hillary or Obama will never get my vote.

Rush said all this came about because everyone pulled a temper tantrum in 06 and refused to vote. He played a clip of what he said on Oct 18th of 06. He said then that if everyone sat the election out, we would wind up with McCain in 08. I guess getting our way is more important than our country, though.

Pick up a book by author Taylor Caldwell. She knew this and warned us many years ago. He fiction based on reality has now come to pass. They used to say she was a kook.

What Satan meant for evil, God can use for good. Perhaps too many people worship politics and politicians instead of looking to God, and placing their faith in Him.

If I love this world more than God, I am on the wrong the track. This world will always choose the wrong path in the end. If I place my faith in it, I will always be disappointed.

This week, there was an article by ABC News where even liberal reporters were getting uncomfortable. They said Obama's supporters would corner people and tell them to "Come to Obama!" The Senator himself uses increasingly religious terms and rhetoric. Oprah routinely refers to him as "The One!"

I already have a Messiah - He is Jesus Christ. This world can go off half crazed and off a cliff, but my God will forever stand firm.

Perhaps that is what all of this is about. God is reminding us that if we place our faith in this world, in failed politics, and fallen men and women, we will always come away empty.

No one, but I was talking with Enchante about going after the specific people behind 9/11 rather than going to war with a nation. Which ends up costing not only trillions of dollars, which we have been borrowing, thousands of lives, but possibly creating more enemies than what we started with.

People don’t want a real conservative. For all the whining in FR about no one to vote for, I wonder how many of the whiners voted for Keyes. I didn’t but I’m not whining. You work with what you have and work to change things later.

What's the name of the book? And yes, I know the feeling. I have so much distrust now, for all the insider politicians, in either party. We have been sold out and played for fools. It is really sad. I don't want to be too cynical though... I tend to trust my instincts, which have ended up being right time and again.

Whats the difference in Keyes losing or any other candidate losing? Who ever we ran was doomed from the start because for one thing, everyone had their own guy and when he didn’t last, everyone took their ball and went home.

This really sucks.
I will not vote for McJuan for the primary today. I'll still write in.
The only way I may even have a thought to vote for McJuan is if he takes Hunter or Thompson for VP. At least then one of these guys, if VP, can whack him side the head a few times to straighten him out.
McJuan may not last 4 years, if elected.
Have to see how the rest of this plays out.

This election kind of reminds me of buying a used car. You have 3 choices. You absolutely have to drive one of them. Two of them are positively going to crash and burn. One of them has alot of mechanical problems but will probably limp along for four years and then you get the chance to buy a nice shiny new one.
