So now we have McCain. McCain's biggest problem is his amnesty bill. Will McCain now admit that he was wrong and come out against amnesty?

Well he has said in debates it was a mistake. The the people do not trust Washington on this and he would now secure the border first. Problem for McCain is, Can we believe him?

You may have preferred a slick talking, jack-in-the-box, for President, but we had one of those for 8 years, and that was enough for me.

I just got 2 automated calls, one asking me to vote for the hildabeast. "Affordable health care and how she looks after people,. She stands up for those affected by Katrina and Rits. blah, blah, blah.

The one for Huckabee ended with, "a vote for Mike Huckabee is a vote for life. It also slammed mccain.

To suggest that Fred’s campaign was phony , is an inane assertion at best .

As a former Fred supporter and contributer, I not only assert that Fred's campaign was phony but that Fred himself is a phony. His fall in the polls upon finally entering the race was so spectacular that it can only be explained as a deliberately self-destructive act or by an impossibly acute incompetence. From his perfectly timed and wildly unpopular statements about not supporting human life or marriage amendments to shooting himself in the foot with his "not particularly interested in running" comment, this was a campaign that never intended to win. His long delay in entering the race kept out other well known conservatives who otherwise would have had time to enter after his inevitable implosion. Now we are left with his endorsed college and friend John McCain. Any objective observer can see this whole effort for the brilliant stalking horse bid it was.

Rush predicted this, and this why he said he wouldn’t endorse Thompson or anyone else.

"It amazes me to see so many intelligent people behaving as though there is only one branch of government."

It amazes me to see that so many intelligent people can't see the illegal grafting of the branches that has taken place.

The new world order on both sides (Freedom vs totalitarian socialism)requires that each nation have it's sheeple under control.

There will be a NWO...the only question is will it be accepted freely or by force.

If done by force, it will resemble communism with no free organizations left standing, including religion.

This is the world that Hillary Clinton envisions because marxists believe that humans will never be able to make the decision to live in peace on the planet without some kind of crushing ultimate central control.

The Freedom lovers believe in individual sovereignty, Free nations and allowing those sovereign governments to lead the people in a united world peace.

Our "two parties" and all their branches are united in their goals at the top of the national level to press for world government...the only time they actually split is on the issue of how to accomplish it.

No, SCOTUS will be shot to hell. We will get moderates or mod-libs with McCain. “I can’t get a conservative through a dem senate!” No, SCOTUS is gone with any of the 3.

I much prefer two more Justice Kennedy or O’Connor’s on the court than two more Ginsberg’s or Stevens’. With Hitlery or O’Dumbo, you SURELY get the latter. With McCain, you almost certainly do not.

Yep.

Some of us saw this coming and were attacked for speaking out about it.

No, we can’t. Any time he talks he says “secure the borders”. I have yet to hear ANYTHING about the current illegals here NOR anything about enforcing the current law. Unless I missed something, his silence in that regard speaks volumes.

My question is, why doesn't McCain's consistent pro-life talk and walk buy him an ounce of cred around here? If the issue is big enough to sink a candidate, why isn't it big enough to catch McCain a break?

Since the 11th Commandment is in effect let just say McCain has a credibility issue with Conservatives because of the last decade. McCain, on virtually every issues of significance that has come up during the last decade has tended to agreeded more with Ted Kennedy then Rush Limbaugh. Pretty tough for McCain to demand our loyalty when he has had no loyalty to us.

Actually this does not surprise me, but I am glad that he waited till the nomination fight was over to let us decide who we want!!

Now he is a Repulican, and to not support the nominee would be seen as politically traitorous. Did he say that McCain will win the next Election, no, because anyone with a coherant thought know that is not going to happen.

The only way McCain could get me to vote for the Repulican Ticket ‘notice I didn’t say McCain’ is if he put Fred or Romney on as VP!!!

Then I will go to bed nightly with a prayer that the lord would save us and call home our nominee so that we might be led by a conservative and not McCain.

You can keep yammering on about ‘being played’ all you want, but here’s a question for you. Which of the GOP candidates offered any well thought out positions on the issues? Fred Thompson was the only one; even some in the MSM and the alleged conservative media had to admit that. Why would someone who was only playing at being a candidate for President even BOTHER to do the work required to bring those issues the serious consideration they deserved?

Don’t be so quick to be sarcastic about it. Some of the more wild throes are nuts but the basic premise is sound.

Who schedules the primaries so this one is early, that one is latter? Who punishes states by stripping them of their delegates for trying to move their caucus/primary up to an earlier date? Who decides if it is a primary or a caucus? Who decided if a primary, in an early state, is open and that one is closed? Who decides to hype the media coverage of say a certain Candide squeaking out a win in state A and ignoring him getting blown by double digits in State B? How is it that the media spends 90% more time talking about Candidate A, who finished 4th in Iowa then they do talking about Candidate B who pulled a surprising 3 place finish? Why do party politicians line up, like good little whores, to all endorse a specific candidate? Who decides the timing of those endorsements to make sure they have maximum impact on the voter’s?

The process is manipulated. It just done in such a way most of you never notice.

This habit of adopting contempt without knowing is a serious weakness in Americans. We are all so sure that everything works exactly as our teachers and or our TVs tell us. No it does not.

Powerful people are powerful mainly because they know how to make their own luck. Powerful people try to keep that power. It not some evil plot where the faceless evil ones sit around and pick who will win this or that election. But by controlling the scheduling and structure of things the connected make an outcome more likely.

That one of the reasons nothing ever changes. People automatically dismiss this sort of information as “kooky”. The author does have some valid points. There is some nuttiness to this article sure, but there is some validity to the points being made.

The Primaries are rigged. That doesn’t mean they are not honest competitions but that they are structured and gamed as much as possible so that the Party Chiefs, not us peons, pick the candidate.
