“If Hitlary or Osama Obama wins, we will never have another shot at it.”

That’s what people said about Bill Clinton. Get a grip. This country is a little bit stronger than you give her credit for being. Doom and gloom people always see the sky falling if a Republican doesn’t win. The doom and gloom haven’t hit yet, and I highly doubt it does.

But they didn’t abandon ship. They stayed and fought it out. It took many many years and failed attempts to get the Constitution written and ratified. I bet they had to compromise a lot of the times and live to fight another day.

Maybe you should have let God draft the nominee, he usually knows better then most people. That explains the hostility that Fred supporters had for anyone who wasn’t Fred. You cannot orchastrate things like that, that’s where being a Christian comes in handy and it’s something that non-Christians don’t understand.

I understand that but we are living in a very different time, now. I honestly think this election is make or break for the US. I don’t know if you believe in the scriptures or not but if you do read Revelations. Very interesting.

Again: agreed.

I don’t know what the future of the US is. But that’s okay, I know Who holds the future. In the end, He wins.

Many knew months ago this would eventually happen, of course we were tared and feathered and damned neared accused of heresy for it.

Yes we did, and, but of course we were. But I've gotten used to being tarred and feathered for stating my thoughts and opinions which are almost always ahead of the curve.

All it will take is one good terrorist hit. The Clintons wrote some pretty scary Executive Orders in the early 90’s, in case of an emergency, they can pretty much take away all of our rights, confiscate property, prohibit the stock piling of food and dividing the country into 10 divisions. Plus relocating people to work camps based on what the skills needed. Don’t so this is a bunch of bull, I read the executive order myself, but it’s been years. So don’t make the mistake of thinking we could survive Hillary.

So what. He waited until Romney dropped out to endorse the eventual winner.

He did the right thing waiting and he did the right thing by endorsing him now.

My efforts are going into prayer. Praying for the good Lord to let McCain suffer some age related setbacks now. Before its too late. Let the Repubbies see that he cannot run the race let alone 4 years.

It’s not too late for Huckabee to get the nod if McCain is suddenly unfit to run. Huckabee is all we have left.

“I don’t know if you believe in the scriptures or not but if you do read Revelations.”

I have and I know what’s coming and I also know that there is nothing I can do to stop it. It’s already been written. And this election is not “make or break” for the US. This country has weathered many storms and many horrible Presidents and has come out just fine. It’s like the global warming fanatics, they think that man can harm this planet. A President can do some slight damage, but the US will continue to survive. It survived the civil war, it survived the depression, it survived Truman, it survived the Nixon scandal, it survived Ford and Carter, it survived Clinton, and it will continue to survive.

The answer of course, is no!

Are the people on here whining the type of Americans who we like to think of as winning WWII or the Cold War? Pop gun is right. The way people throw around "treason" etc when things don't go their way. Ugh! Way to lay it out Leni.
Shoot who doesn't want to live in Atzlan? I mean, I know McCain's a RINO and all, but letting the hordes re-conquer the American is the next big thing you know?

I can imagine it now. Vincente Fox going up to Juan and going "Senor McQuian, erase this border!". I can see it now. Reagan's got nothing on us. Silly whiners.

It’s generally accepted that America is not mentioned in the end-times scenario in Revelations. If it’s time for that to be accomplished, my voting or not voting for a candidate won’t stop it. Those days are coming and I’m slowing starting to see that instead of holding my nose and swimming with the tide, I am to STAND.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13: Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Ephesians 6:12-13

In the 6th chapter of Ephesians alone the word “stand” is used 3 times. Any scholar will tell you that something repeated in the Bible is very important. My marching orders are clear.

Hear hear.

“I am not a loyal party member”

“I am a conservative Christian, and we are in this world but not of it.”

Worth repeating!!

“We know how to deal with McCain. He’d better deliver or he is toast. Most of us are giving him the benefit of the doubt. If he squanders it then we all are worse for it.”

In all fairness, I don’t know about that. It didn’t seem to do much good while he was a Senator. From what I am hearing McCain has an ability to act like an ass and get away with it, where the same actions would have have destroyed another person’s career. I don’t think that is a good qualitiy, when you are looking for President who realizes he was put there by the voters. It’s kind of my way or the high way. Somehow, he uses his A-Hole personality to avoid consequences. But anyway, despite all of these shortcomings, I am voting for him for the sole purpose of defeating Hitlery.

What does a person gain by “sitting this one out”? That is cutting off your nose dispite your face. I can’t stand McCain either but I sure as heck am not going to roll over and play dead and let the RATS take the presidency in the next election. That is dumb, dumb, dumb. Why should we put ourselves through 4 years of RAT control and sucking away our freedoms when we can have some controls over a President McCain? McCain is no fool. This is all about him and he wants to be popular. He is smart enough to know not to jeopardize his presidential legacy by fighting with conservatives for 4 years.

Personally, I think it would be a mistake to pick Fred, it’s not a good idea. Fred is so over-rated, he is McCain’s good friend. Anyone who is a friend of his is not a friend of mine. I think McCain ought to show he is a man of character by picking someone he doesn’t like. He needs to show that he is willing to act bigger then he is. Picking his friend will do nothing to improve his image as an A-Hole.
