Many years ago I enjoyed David Suzuki’s commentary on science television. And now he’s a frothing idiot who thinks that it would be a good thing to have the “state” knock down my door and throw me in prison because I adhere to the scientific method. :(

As I’ve said, Global Warming is the perfect Leftist/totalitarian political issue, bucause it invites the stifling of dissent under the banner of “scientific certainty.”
Marxists always insisted that their beliefs were “scientific.” They just didn’t take the next step and find some tenured professor to officially peer-review them.
Stories like this are completely unsurprising. It’s the next step after Al Gore’s “the debate is over” and “there can be no more discussion.”

On behalf of expatriate Canadians now living in the US, I deeply apologize for this incessant, pompous, overrated clown’s attitude.
Many years ago, I attended a symposium with my gf at Univ of British Columbia and he was the ‘star” speaker on the “relationship between organic foods and solar power”. Midway after his 1st speech, the audience and the other guests were shaking their heads on how this idiot was able to formulate such nonsense.
He’s an overrated hack, and judging by his lefty, moronic stance on global warming, he’s a laughingstock.
It also helps that he’s on their brainwashing TV schedule at the lefty, anti American CBC.
