Are there any Freepers who support John McCain?
If you support Mr. McCain, can you make the case for your man?
Can you make the case without bringing up the War?
Can you make the case without bringing up Judges?
Can you make the case without using any ACU ratings? (Those don't impress anybody.)
Can you make the case without insults or telling people to "calm down"?
Can you make the case without the type of lying and dishonesty we've come to expect from John McCain and his special friend Mike Huckabee?
Can you make the case without trashing Barack Obama?
Can you make the case without using Hillary Rodham Clinton as some kind of boogyman or boogyperson?

I would too. If the VP is Fred or Haley Barbour I would likely support McCain, if it is the Huckster or Crist, forget it.

The current FR poll puts McCain’s support at 18.5%.
IF he doesn’t have a meltdown and his campaign remains intact it’ll be interesting to see what those (FR) support numbers will be come convention time when there are only two candidates remaining. My guess is between 65% and 75%.
Over my dead body would I ever support a ‘senator’ for POTUS. Don’t care who it is.
Now it looks like four of them in the general.
Crap gubners like Carter are one thing, but taking garbage from both sides of the aisle from the senate and sticking them on both sides and Constitutionally we have no choice, one will be elected.
Why the garbage of one branch has enough to carry over to the next is just wrong. Legislators are not leaders, they’re vacuums with an evil side that can only suck one thing, dummies.

No. However, those issues alone will likely earn McCain the votes of most conservatives, when the alternatives are really considered. However, he will not have a committed impassioned base to do what is needed to win. I, for one, will not be writing checks and volunteering my time as I have in the past, for candidates that I was fully behind.
