Are there any Freepers who support John McCain?

If you support Mr. McCain, can you make the case for your man?

Can you make the case without bringing up the War?

Can you make the case without bringing up Judges?

Can you make the case without using any ACU ratings? (Those don't impress anybody.)

Can you make the case without insults or telling people to "calm down"?

Can you make the case without the type of lying and dishonesty we've come to expect from John McCain and his special friend Mike Huckabee?

Can you make the case without trashing Barack Obama?

Can you make the case without using Hillary Rodham Clinton as some kind of boogyman or boogyperson?

Can you?

The ball is in your court.

A no vote is a yes vote for Shillery or Barak Hussein.

All the rest doesn't matter if you're dead.

We are in agreement. We let the Democrats win the WH, then we will more than likely loose the WOT. If we loose that, then the terrorists will be back and with a vengeance.

he will not retreat on the War and allow Islamofacism (as he has the balls to call it) a undeniable victory.

Convincing. But McCain's not known for his stance on securing the borders. Obama wants to keep the borders open too but he also wants to bring our troops home and stop fighting the terrorists. McCain want to keep the borders open while we continue to fight them. While both scenarios will not stop terrorists from getting into the country which scenario could end up more dangerous for Americans living here at home?

I wish I weren’t but I know the guy and he is a nutcase. Anybody who has ever been around him knows this. Senator Cochran said the guy is unstable. He would know.

Three thousand innocent Americans. Our young men and women have paid a price for them. I don’t want to see it wasted. For them I can hold my nose and pull the lever.

Just as I suspected, the children at FR have no answer to your post.

And so speaking of Hillary.....

....let’s revisit for a moment the spectre of her possible election.

First, the woman DID vote FOR the war in Iraq no mind her speaking out of both sides of her mouth now that the Moonbat wing of her party should vote for her.

Hill knows that her previous administration played fiddle a little too long whilst Rome burned and I’m not convinced the Hill will just up and pull the troops. I think she’d make a better CIC then...well than Obama, for one. I’m not convinced McCain would be better than her because if no one’s mentioned it yet, this man has a horrific temper. He scares people, I’m serious. Yes, the Hill has a temper but McCain makes her look like a piker.

So...supreme court nominees? Well who’s going to be up to retire? Stevens? Ginsberg? Well these two are so liberal already that even if Hill should appoint liberals to replace, how is this worse? Conservative issues are squeaking through now. The Court might not get any better but I’d argue it won’t get worse. Oh, and don’t forget that the fine, even-tempered McCain said he thought Alito wore his conservatism on his sleeve. What the hell does that mean?

Social issues? What...I’ve not seen any amazing passion by McCain on the issue of abortion. Let’s not forget the man voted AGAINST tax cuts ..”for the rich”. He’s got Schwarz...Crist and a bunch of other libs in the tank for him and he’ll owe them. Any diff between the Hill and McCain on these matters is almost null.

Finally, IF Hill beats McCain, the pubbies in congress will have gotten a message. For I think the concept of conservatives across the fruited plains sitting this election out or voting for Micky Mouse will be widely known by the time McCain loses. thus the senators and reps will know the message. Conservatives in this country might not be a majority (although I think they are, far more than the lib media likes to present), we are a damn formidable group and on occasions, like the non-herding cats we are, we get it into our heads that we’ve had enough. A President Hillary would have to plow through that chastised Republican congress.

If conservatives swallow one more time and vote for this totally unpalatable John McCain, he of the fine even temper, this country will go liberal and will never go back.
John McCain and his so-called Republican enablers, helped by the libs who would rather have had the Hill but can live with McCain, will be emboldened as never before.

It’s my argument and I’m sticking to it.

Let’s all pull together and defeat the Democrat nominee in November.

Which democrat do you want to defeat? McCain, Hillary, or Obama?

The guy is nuts, to be polite and unstable.

It's always nice to be polite but you really don't have to be unstable.

Find the areas where we agree with John McCain.

BS.

Actually, I trust hillary more than mccaine.

I know where she's coming from and where she's going.

Mccaine will stab you in the back and dump you for a nickel and he's every bit as power hungry as hillary.

I can't even envision what he could do to convince me to even hold my nose for him, let alone actually vote for him.

Thank god the GOP has folks like you to swallow anything put before you. Maybe some day you'll get off your knees.

McCain could get us killed, too. Think about it. He could nuke Arab countries, or anyone else who pissed him off.

I really don’t think Hill will be pulling us out, i expect her to go more to the middle than mccain. I am series.
Rush makes a good point that i made in a slightly different fashion a while back, but it will be easier for the gop and the blue dog dems to fight hillary than mccain.

What’s wrong with bringing up the war and judges?

Those are huge issues.

Why would you insist on purely generic arguments when we have critical times facing the nation and must choose a leader to address them?

Arguing over trivia is a waste of time.

Find the areas where we agree with John McCain.
I’m hoping we can let go of the personal and move to the a place where we can be politcally smart.

Will you join me?

I won’t.
By his own words, he was a collaborator.

Now that John McCain is our candidate, I support him, will campaign for him and send him money. Here’s why:

The Dimms will raise taxes, McCain will not

The Dimms are pro abortion, McCain is not

The Dimms will cut and run from Iraq, McCain will not

The Dimms will socialize medicine, McCain will not

The Dimms will add hundreds and hundreds of billion in new spending, McCain will not

The Dimms will “fix” social security by raising taxes, McCain wants personal accounts

The Dimms are for appeasement with Iran, McCain is not

The Dimms will appoint Ginsbergs and Stevens, McCain will appoint more Roberts’s.

So to those who say there is no differnce, I say this: Basically McCain and Hillary are the same with the exception of taxes, spending, the role of Government, Healthcare, Iraq, Iran, the GWOT in General, Social Security, Abortion, and Judges.

I have to say I have been reading the posts regarding McCain. I actually agree with most of the posts. Some are way out of line. Many of you Conservatives were willing to lay your personal beliefs about Romney aside to support him. Some said NO to even that.

Well folks...here we are. This is actually how we got the first Clinton...remember? Stubborn...go for it all! We cannot have it all, it is a fact! McCain has the opportunity to do the right things. Admit McCain-Feingold was a mistake with terrible consequences. Perhaps even offer legislation to correct the error. If McCain is the Conservative he claims to be and expects us to follow him, give us a reason to follow! Give us some reasons to get excited. Don't pander...don't promise anything you can't deliver. Study your Federalism!

This site is monitored by the liberal left as you all know so the longer it takes for us to quit attacking McCain, the more ammunition we are giving to our enemies. McCain would not be the first choice for any of us here...but what do we have left? 4 Years of Clinton? 4 Years of Obama?

McCain has his faults, and we all know they are many, but with the instant communications we now have, we can certainly hold his little butt to the fire on any issue we believe he is getting out of line on. I hate to admit it, but I must put my personal feelings aside and hold my fire for now.

Many were willing to give Romney a pass if he could beat McCain...maybe we should be willing to give McCain one more shot to fulfill his Conservative values and move forward Conservatism into his administration. We can certainly hold him to his words. In 2000, I admit I gave the maximum and truly felt screwed!

This year, I gave with an open heart to FRED and was cheated out of a very fine President by a MSM frightened to death of a true Conservative. The MSM won...we got McCain!

Now, we have to beat them at their own game. Regrettably, we must one by one at least find the good in McCain and hope and pray he really heard us with respect to illegal immigration and securing the borders. If he is serious, he could start pushing completion of the border fence already in the law and funded. FREEPERS could begin to bombard his office for completion of the fence.

Fight fire with fire. So...I will be the first to say, I will hold my nose and reluctantly vote for our Party nominee. I will watch carefully and decide later as to whether I will actively support him, but I will vote for him.

Flame away!

Sorry, but anybody who wants to close Gitmo and instead allow terrorists access to our courts (whose defense would be paid for by the taxpayers) would not be good for the war on terror.

He will not try to talk to them, please them, appease them, make a deal with them, he will tell the troops TO KILL THEM!!!! neither one of the jackasses will do that!
