Video at Michelle's blog.
The sound on this video shows that the boos were much louder than the MSM's podium mikes picked up.
No wonder McCain didn't look to comfy on stage, even with his cheerleaders up in the front.

The CPAC crowd was fired up during Romneys speech until, at the end, he broke his news, and things came crashing down. Then after a panel of senators and congressmen, and a speech by Dick Armey, the McCain ballet commenced.
1. It was an exercise in professional crowd control. Shortly before his speech, McCain staffers and volunteers were escorted in and seated throughout the room while conservatives were denied entrance.
2. Those attempting to save seats for family members, etc. were told that the people they were saving the seats for would not be getting into the room and that they had to let the other guests have the seats
3. The McCain crew shouted and cheered boisterously at all of the appropriate points, and gave dirty looks to any who booed. Still, lots of people booed.
4. McCains speech was undeniably a good speech. It did not change the fact that conservatives do not trust them, but it was a good speech, so it was difficult not to applaud with some points. (How can you boo all the time when someone quotes Edmund Burke twice?)
The total crowd was the usual CPAC packed room, probably about 5,000 strong in the room. Of them, possibly 10-20% were McCain supporters, but much of the rest of the crowd were simply polite, and seeing no viable conservative hope, gave McCain a moderate level of applause.
In the past, we have left CPAC energized. Today, we left for the day feeling like we had been punched in the gut.

tom delay said he was in the room and there were a some mccain supporters salted in the room but it wasn’t really warm.
(Is it me or are freepers really wired....confused, combative,???? )
It proves that the "Disco Republicans" have all donned the emperors clothes and are deluding themselves that they will win..
OK by me. MxCain and all his backroom amnesty deals is going to get his BUTT kicked up around his ears come Nov 7.
Could NOT happen to a more deserving little punk.
What utter treason has gained such power in this nation as to step by step manufacture a process by which we as a group of Citizens will have 35 million criminal illegal aliens shoved through the back door labeled amnesty. Only a nut job like MxCain could be controlled enough to fight this protracted battle to sell out this nation with lies, pretty words and now wobbly voice speeches.
Make no mistake fellow Citizens, what we are seeing here is merely a continuation of the Battle for Amnesty.
Boos included.
I need a new keyboard!! lol
Ah, it looked like there was way more applause than boos to me.
The clientele ain’t what it used to be around here. or at CPAC, for that matter..
“Wow. He got a really warm reception”
Bussing in 100s of your own supporters and excluding the opposition from the room generally has that effect.
LOL! Here’s the video

But I prefer this one

Like me, others can have honest disagreements with McCain, but booing a man who comes to speak to your group is just childish and classless. And conservatives that promote this sort of behavior are moving into silly territory.
Pro-life, pro-war, anti-spending, pro-conservative judges, and that’s not just a speech text, that’s his record.
Yeah, well we all know our options...Me, I’ll vote for McCain because a Clinton does not deserve another free ride.
I need it bigger. Thanks.
McCain is like a philandeering husband asking his cuckolded wife to forgive him.
Will conservatives forgive him as Hillary forgave Bill?
I didn’t know his supporters were in the hundreds.
He must have a few FBI files stashed at a U-Store-It somewhere.
Light refreshments will be served.
I figure the begging for votes will start at about a week out from the election when Juan trails by 20 or 30 percent.
Headlines: Conservatives help elect First Black President.
Then focus on taking back Congress in 2010 and The Presidency in 2012.
The sound bite on the radio didn’t play the boos part, conservative station, syndicated feed.
