Hilarious, Fox just ran a clip at the start of Cavuto and it had “Sen. McCain (D-AZ).” LOL!

Trueblackman said people were bused in. Are you saying he lied?? That is a simple question?

You are right except it is not just the MSM. The MC-Bots here are the same. I guess they must have gotten the same batch of Kool-Aid.

To all Mccain supporters: I ask you to objectively compare Romeny’s speech this morning with your guy’s. No comparison and a preview to the disaster this guy will be in the general.

Dole, but without the personna. /s

Thanks. That’s what I’m saying. People saying that McCain supporters were ‘bused in’ to take over CPAC is ridiculous! Buses have been pulling up to the Omni since yesterday afternoon. I’ve been here since last night and can tell you that, having been here six out of the last seven years, the crowd in that room is representative of the ‘real’ CPAC...the boos you heard when McCain mentioned amnesty are proof of that.

MCcain had the BEST possible outcome from that speech. There were no boo's (minus the illegal immigration - but he knew he would get that). But he had the balls to bring it up.

I don't care if you say he was selling snake oil, if its all propaganda... He did great, He won that crowed over, and he is our nominee (or soon will be). I will support him. Soon many nay-sayers will fall in line as well. Im sure I will get tons of replies saying "not me!" ... just wait till next fall .. half of you can't stand not being behind a candidate of some kind, and since its going to be Mccain and Hillary - your going to go through withdraw symptoms ;)

I had the speech on but McCain is so boring, I found it difficult to sit and listen to him. He has a real problem.

You want tohand those to hillary and reid?

considering McCain’s recent history in that regard, it makes no difference, even if the dems were to let him appoint anyone right of Mao.
but they won’t have to because he will “reach across the aisle” just like he always does.

No McCain in 08.

The deal with the Republican party is you must also first be a Republican and that necessarily means opposing human slavery in every shape and form it may take.

It's an ideal that's kept us together since the election of Abraham Lincoln.

McCain is a bit soft on that question. He's already signed his name to legislation submitted in the Senate that would create a permanent underclass, peons let's call them, in the United States.

That simply cannot be forgiven.

Wow....I’m not sure what to think now that Romney is out.

Think all that is left is Huck and Ron.

MSM, open primaries, etc, there are some HARD lessons coming for the real Republicans because the "Disco Republicans" are being sold as genuine by the MSM.

I’m thinking we will see the first woman President. This will be just like amnesty, which in a very real sense, it is a continuation of that fight. The "republican party" will be singing the praises and the American Citizens will be dragging out pitchforks and lighting torches.

Great speech and well received, except for here of course. I’m going to get you all Obama 08’ bumper stickers for your vehicles.

I would like to think your estimation of those categories is closer to the truth than my own estimations.

What I will say, is that with the close elections we have had over the last two general elections, McCain can’t afford to lose one single vote from the base.

In that, you and I are on the same page I’m sure, and I agree John McCain will never be president.

Dick Armey is no longer relevant. This is 2008. And I am sick of people trying to scare me about the war and terrorism and Hillary etc. If all you have going for you is to scare people into voting for you, then you are missing something.

Frankly I don't think Obama or Hillary are going to stop protecting this country. Nor do I think they are going to end the war in Iraq tomorrow. I think they will raise my taxes, give amnesty and cry global warming just like McCain will.

McCain says I am welcome to join "them", whoever that is. I'll just say no thanks.

"I ask you to objectively compare Romeny’s speech this morning with your guy’s."

OK, one was the speech of a winner and one was the speech of a loser.

The bottom line is that amnesty is not off the table, the global warming taxes are on the table. Will he shut down the government when the democrats filibuster a conservative supreme court nominee? We need to keep asking McCain these questions.

“I trust TrueBlackMan myself.”

I’m not accusing anyone of anything. Of course McCain had an entourage there but the overwhelming majority of GOPAC attendees got their tickets many months ago, way before McCain was the frontrunner and those folks were in the room for the speech.

No we are addressing the facts of McCain’s record on these issues. You are telling us ignore the record believe the words. Well most of us are old enough to know you NEVER trust the words of a politician.

Look, you McCainbots aren’t doing yourselves any favors. All you are doing is keeping the wounds open by reminding people why they do not trust McCain. Your best tactics at this point is simply walk away for awhile. Give the Conservatives time and space to adjust to the fact that the Republicans really are running a pro tax hike 20% Conservative as their candidate. Doubtlessly between now and Nov the Democrat candidates will do much to scare Conservatives onto McCain’s side.

You got 9 months to win us over. Don’t try pushing him right now. It is just pissing us off.

How Lame. I’ve translated for those that don’t speak weasel.

“Once there is consensus that the border is secure, (kind of like the consensus on global warming) only then will I grant amnesty to 40 million illegals dooming America to balkinization, and ensuring socialist rule in perpetuity.”
