Me too. Good rhetoric. But one speech doesn't get my vote.

I'll still take a wait and see position with McCain.

Romney spoke first? Who allowed that to happen?

“Defense, judges, taxes, right to life, second amendment, ...”

I just heard the JO say he would ban assault weapons.

Speech over. McCain’s getting a rousing standing ovation. I think he’s turned the tide.

On to November and victory!

"I thought Juan McAmnesty hated conservatives and didn’t need or want their support."

Yeah, but he knows some of us are SO stupid that we'll keep on voting election after election like mind numbed robots for a more liberal candidate each time who will screw us again and again until we have all turned into Socialists and we can be one BIG TENT happy Democrat party, so why wouldn't he give some speech written by a conservative if that's all it takes to get conservatives to vote for him?

Well, I am glad I don’t have to cast a vote today!!

It makes me sick to even think of voting for McCain.

I will NEVER vote for that slime preacher.

I absolutely hate the guts of the democrats.

I feel like I am locked in a round room, having been told that I must p$ss in a corner or wet my pants. ;>)

God save the Republic.

Folks need to realize this is beyond "I hate MxCain." The guy made recovery from 75% of the U.S. population wanting his hide on a fence over his amnesty bill. His campaign was broke and he was at less than 1% in the polls. Within 6 months he is raking in 20 million a month and is sweeping the election.

Americans may have short attention spans but not THAT short. They do remember this is the guy that wanted amnesty for 30 million criminal illegal aliens. This is the guy that is constantly photographed on the wrong side of the isle in the Senate. This is the guy that tells respected conservative politicians to "shut the f**k up."

And now he is being positioned to the Presidency? With cash, votes, support from the MSM and a red carpet ticket by the party which is telling reps to "not boo him?" In six months?

Damn near magic, huh?

The same "interested parties” that pushed the current President to trot across the isle the very FIRST day after the 2006 elections proclaiming “It's an important issue and I hope we can get something done on it. I meant to put that in my list of things that we need to get done” appear to be paving a super highway for foulmouthed Juan. Why?

Well, we got three big pushes to ramrod amnesty and two more smaller “stealth” amnesty attempts after 2006. All of them were supported by the current administration and all of them were shot down. Juan was right in the middle of it, hence the photos of Juan and Teddy.

Now we have the primary process that started with a field that did included some TOP NOTCH conservative candidates. They were demonized, marginalized and/or totally blacked out by MSM. Of that field we are being sold the absolutely WORST candidate. He is getting a damn near magic carpet ride to 1600 Pennsylvania Av.

Anybody else smell a dead rat? I do, and it’s name is AMNESTY.

A great speech and I believe McCain will stand by every word of it. He also reduced some of my concerns that he is not a great orator. He did a much better job than I expected.

For God’s sake we can’t possibly allow the Clinton/Obama approaches to these issues.

Better get used to it. Best advice I've got.
