McCain or Bust...Conservatives, will you vote?

Posted on 02/07/2008 12:06:38 PM PST by WiseGuyF686

No articles on here, I apologize. I just wanted to bring a little bit of opinionated discussion in at this point, now that we stand on the brink of setting American back 4-8 years...

The conservative candidates are out of race, and it looks like it's McCain or bust. How many of you will close your eyes and vote for McCrazy over Obama or Hillary, in order to do minimal damage to America over the next preidential term...and how many of you will sit home and watch the sky fall?

Personally, I'll do just about anything to keep the Clintons at bay, including vote for John McCain.

I would think that a party whose actions illicit the type of response you just posted should worry. I think however they will just continue to fiddle.

Probably, but I’ll be really dejected about it.

“The best way to fix the RINO problem is to stop voting for them. When RINOs lose elections, they’ll know to tack right.”

No the best way to fix the RINO problem is to make sure they never get a chance to start political careers to begin with, then we don’t get stucking voting for them to stop almost always far worse democrats.

We were asleep at the wheel, perhaps distracted by the war on terror and backstabbing democrats.

Then the MSM picks our candidates for us.

We ALL have to try harder now and back conservatives and do the ground work years before elections.

The GOP is a party, conservatism is a political philosphy.
We still can fix the GOP and we must not give in to those that are so incredibly negative and doomed filled here.

There will be more elections.

lets start working on that *today*.

Sounds like Mitt is.

Reagan did the same when he lost. He didnt give up.

We shouldnt either.

Much too soon to say. McCain is still a senator and how he performs his tax paid duties there between now and the convention may help clarify the situation. Mitt Romney has also just suspended his campaign and that is a loose end as well.

I just want to add that it *is* important to vote. There are conservative candidates for the senate, the house, and state/local offices who need and deserve our support. So “Stay Home” is not good.

...Republican’t Party. The more voters that ditch their principles and swallow another liberal turd, the more the RINO infested establishment serves more up....

Agree.

No only that... Everyone knows conservatives HATE MACACA... If we were to warm up to this weasel... it would tell the WORLD

*** THAT WE ARE ALL BARK AND NOT BITE! :) ***

Soldier in IRAQ are putting their lives on the line every day... now THAT IS GUTS!, we on the other hand, the "Sacrifice" we have to do is just NO TO VOTE for this back-stabber DemoCrap.

If we don't have enough spine to do that, we might as well, get a place the Fag's 'pride' parade.. LOL!

Geeeeeeezzzzzzzzz.

“Well said!!”

Optimism, dedication, and hard work will prevail.

Reagan knew that.

We can solve the rino problem the best way, make sure they never get started in politics!

We were asleep at the wheel,

lets learn from those mistakes for next time.

And there WILL be a next time.

It’s up to us. We can do it.

They are, they’re liberals and traitors, just like Johnny. Unfortunately, Johnny ain’t gonna win, but like the gutter scum they are, they don’t care as amnesty and open borders are their ultimate goal whoever delivers it to them. What you see is a modern version of the Roman Empire before it fell from within from the greed, stupidity, cowardice, corruption, and degeneracy of the Roman leadership. It’s only that these dirtbags don’t know it and don’t care.

True. But we do not have socialized health care, which would be bigger than Medicare and Medicaid combined.

We also are not talking about “taking” profits from private companies like Hillary wants to do with Exxon/Mobil.

McCain has not said that he is opposed to socialized medicine. Even Bush took steps to incrementally head us toward socialized medicine with his prescription drug benefit and the continuation of the SHIP program. A vote for McCain is not a guarantee that some sort of government funded (i.e. taxpayer funded) health care benefit will not come to pass.

McCain is right on board with the global warming crazies. What’s to stop him from regulating homes and businesses into bankruptcy for “the sake of the children”? So, instead of simply taking profits, which will result in the exodus of business from America (with the associated jobs), we get micro managed business, industry, and lives which will result in the exodus of business from America (with the associated jobs).

There is no good choice here. Both scenarios result in a weaker (economically) and less free America. When the macaca hits the fan as the recession deepens, don’t be surprised as the “conservative” McCain begins to consider ways to limit our 2nd Amendment rights.

McCain wants millions of illegals to cross the border. Muslims blend in with the masses crossing the border.

There will be a mad rush to the border of hundreds of millions of 3rd worlders once McCain Mr. Marxist , Mr. Amnesty is president.

Mccain wants to take Islamic terrorists out of Gitmo and bring them into the U.S. court system. He is also against waterboarding of terrorists.

I care about eating, and being free and having the government leave me alone, and having small government that leaves busineses alone, and having the government build a fence and stop the illegals invasion. Whether the troops have a liberal/Marxist who calls himself a Republican or calls himself a Democrat is not of importance to me.

McCain has given nothing to the U.s., troops, freedom except lies and lip service. he has done more damage than anyone to America, freedom , and to the GOP and to conservatism.

I will never vote for McCAin , Hillary, Obama, Huckabee or any Democrat. I will vote for the 3rd party constitution party candidate.

Huckabee has a long history of graft. Trying to appropriate $70,000 worth of governor’s mansion furniture, taking thousands of dollars worth of clothing gifts, using the mansion operations funds to buy fast food and nylons for his family, starting an unregulated slush fund to augment his salary. What kind of person gets other to “donate” for his upkeep?

Depends on the VP. McCain is not a young man and 2012 may be important.

Staying home, writing in or going third party in November is rubber stamping surrender. I'll be voting for McCain even if I have to use my elbows cause both hands are holding my nose.

You may count on me to write in. You may also count on me to jeer at all the poor slobs crawling through more broken glass than ever before, only to lose anyway as *crickets* prevail at the polls.

BWAHAHAHAHA! Losers.

LOL!!! You act like there are choices left! I’m a Duncan Hunter person myself but that’s all gone bye-bye, now hasn’t it!

The people who want most for Conservatives to sit home are America-hating liberals. You must be a Hillary boot-licker. Enjoy your homo marriages.

Sir,

I am an American first, a conservative second, and the Party that I have voted for the past thirty-seven years was the GOP. When the GOP moved away from my second alliegance, and McCain against the principles of the Constitution, then this Party and THAT candidate loses my vote every time.

I’ll vote, but I’m done voting for those I don’t believe in. Nor do I feel like I’m throwing my vote away because I choose not to cast it for one of two a$$holes; neither I sincerely believe will best lead this country. The votes that are thrown away are those given to support a brand out of sheer, roll-over-and-like-it again loyalty; in this case the ‘Republican’ brand. I’ll vote, lots of local offices and a House and Senate hang in the balance. The presidency has already been lost.

I hate McCain, Hillary Clinton, Obama, any Democrat, and Huckabee. I will never vote for any of these Marxists under any circumstances.

McCain, Mrs. Amnesty for 100 million illegals( 30 million here now and their families back in Mejico and the 3rd world) is the biggest threat to the U.S:
