No articles on here, I apologize. I just wanted to bring a little bit of opinionated discussion in at this point, now that we stand on the brink of setting American back 4-8 years...
The conservative candidates are out of race, and it looks like it's McCain or bust. How many of you will close your eyes and vote for McCrazy over Obama or Hillary, in order to do minimal damage to America over the next preidential term...and how many of you will sit home and watch the sky fall?
Personally, I'll do just about anything to keep the Clintons at bay, including vote for John McCain.
LLS
i am with you my friend
if McCain is the nominee i will vote for him over Bama/Hill
Third party = Hillary/Obama
Yeee-up. You really think we'd be in a better spot today if John F. Kerry Reporting-for-duty was President? I don't. McCain will have my vote in November for the exact same reason that Bush did in 2004.
We dont need any third parties. We need to strengthen our resolve and come together as -the- Ronald Reagan Republican party. We need to move all RINOS in every way shape and form into a party of their own.
You poor misguided fool. As of today, the Republican Party is now the McCain party, and all loyal Reagan Republicans will be marginalized and disregarded. They actually believe that they can win the White House without Reagan conservatives. Their hope is to siphon off middle of the road Democrats and energize the new RINO base. Conservatives need not apply.

We are going to win the War in Iraq.
With or without the help of the children at either end of the Moonbat Spectrum.
If we don't use analogies, what you would have to write is, "if we agree to give up a little more of our freedom every election, a little more of our tax money every election, a little more of our country every election".
No. Juan Hernandez can vote for me. One speech does not a conservative make.
McCain? He can kiss my A$$.

“I cant believe that most would skip voting for McCain and give the race to Hill so we can have Universal Health Care.”
Don’t think for a second he wouldn’t sign a healthcare bill his washington establishment buddies pass.

Why is it that some of you just have to act like children and call names? What is wrong with a debate on the merit of the subject?
LLS
True. But we do not have socialized health care, which would be bigger than Medicare and Medicaid combined.
We also are not talking about “taking” profits from private companies like Hillary wants to do with Exxon/Mobil.
I don’t wanna go further down that road. With Hillary we know for sure she will take us there, with a Pelosi/Reid Congress. McCain is good on spending, and better on WOT.
I think he is a far better choice. I believe there are only three options:
1. Vote for Hillary
2. Vote for McCain
3. Support Hillary passively, by writing in a candidate or staying home.
I don’t like this game, but its the only one in town.
Fishtalk for Prez.
I don’t like it either. But I do not owe the GOP anything. The Dems cater to their voters, and if the GOP wants me, I’m right here. I haven’t moved, they have left me.
I said GOP is Dead vanity thread.
Go start one.
No. You begged for the hit, but that’s all. ;>)
I suspect that your heart is in the right place, even if we may disagree on some things.
Have a good day.
I don't rule out voting for McCain, but he could do a lot of things to antagonize me over the next seven months.
If I don't vote for him it won't be a cause of a lot of agitation or because of any "movement" concerns.
This isn't a "movement" era, at least not for me.
To have a movement you have to have a clear goal that looks attainable and necessary to you.
What I see now is "ordinary politics" not inspired or impassioned "movement" politics.
You vote for the candidate who's best or least bad, but don't deceive yourself about ideal goals that most people don't want to reach or know we can't attain.
Incremental liberalism. We held our noses to keep John F. Kerry out and now our choice is between a John F. Kerry clone and Clinton II, which is to say there is no choice. McCain is Clinton in drag. All of the left over candidates have had the exact same position on all of the issues at one time or another. There is not a statesman among them. This year, in addition to holding your nose, be sure to close your eyes, cover your ears, and put a cork in it (apologies to Tommy).
