McCain or Bust...Conservatives, will you vote?

Posted on 02/07/2008 12:06:38 PM PST by WiseGuyF686

No articles on here, I apologize. I just wanted to bring a little bit of opinionated discussion in at this point, now that we stand on the brink of setting American back 4-8 years...

The conservative candidates are out of race, and it looks like it's McCain or bust. How many of you will close your eyes and vote for McCrazy over Obama or Hillary, in order to do minimal damage to America over the next preidential term...and how many of you will sit home and watch the sky fall?

Personally, I'll do just about anything to keep the Clintons at bay, including vote for John McCain.

Will the Constitution Party have a candidate on all ballots this year?

You know, I am always amazed at how differently people can perceive people. I believe Huckabee to be the genuine article, exactly what he says he purports to be, while others see him as a “wolf in sheep’s clothing.”

I guess, for me, Duncan Hunter’s endorsement sealed the deal that Huckabee is a good man. He spent a lot of time with him directly, not through the lens of the media or media types and he endorsed him due to his positions, but also because of his character.

I can’t believe that most would skip voting for McCain and give the race to Hill so we can have Universal Health Care. When you can’t get the health care you are accustom to having you will have no one to blame but yourselves. I don’t like McCain either but the alternative is so much worse.

That is absurd. McCain is to the left of Rudy Giuliani. We have a better chance at keeping Hillary in the center. She is much less dangerous to us than McCain.

The devil we know is certainly less dangerous than the devil in disgiuse.

I’ll be focusing my vote on my congressional and senatorial candidates. We have already lost the Presidential election and will need strong conservates in the legislator to keep the liberal of the month in check.

When I contemplate voting for McCain my mind wanders to the die on my feet or live on my knees argument. I really feel that conceding to McCain as our liberal but Republican* candidate is akin to living on my knees. That’s not my style.

I may just write in Morris the Cat for President.

Of course I’ll vote....for a 3rd party candidate that did not infringe upon my 1A rights.

No. I believe they will have a Presidential candidate, and I don't know or care who it is, I will vote for that person.

All your name calling doesn’t offend me. It’s just words on a screen.

Anyone who votes for McCain is a traitor to America because McCAin supports and encouraged the illegal illegals invasion from Mexico.

Anyone who votes for McCain also votes for socialism , So anyone who votes for McCain is an idiot because socialism is a disaster that will leave everyone in poverty as it did in the Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, etc .

He will set a secret timetable with his left-wing buddies in the senate. He will sign whatever healthcare bill comes his way so it can be part of his “legacy”. He shows a clear disdain for the rich and successful as seen by his class warfare rhetoric against tax cuts and Romney.

That’s what you missed.

You people are delusional if you think there is any substantial difference between Satan and the beast.

There is a substantial difference, however, and it's over the War On Terror and our dealings with the Islamic radicals of the world. It's the most important issue facing America today, I think. I know McCain will fight in this war we're engaged in. I know Clinton and Obama won't.

I’d rather push for a better candidate in 2012 while McCain is in the White House. After Hillary, we will be a socialist nation. No conservative thereafter will be able to reverse it.

I’m gonna hold my nose firmly, and vote for McCain. Having Hillary with a Pelosi/Reid Congress is much, much worse, IMO.

“He gets the GWOT.”

No, he doesn’t. He feels some strange compassion for murderers we capture and interrogate. He feels they should brought here because they have a “right” to our judicial system.

McCain doesn’t get it at all.
