Zot me if you wish, but after all the vitriol towards me on FR, the last two GOP candidates left are McCain and Huckabee, the irony was too good to pass up.
JMO, but a lot of Freepers acted like the left with their stern demand that every person must adhere to a 110% litmus test.
With now McCain's sealing up the nomination and blaming everyone else and their dog, maybe you all should look at yourselves, despite the claims of 20 million listeners or being a top web site, the results are in and your brand of conservatism is not selling where it counts, the GOP primaries.
All it proves is the MSM still has some influence with middle-of-the-road voters. McLame was their man from day one and they finally got him in.
Now watch them eat their progeny. McLame will not have the MSM anymore, and the talk-radio-conservative-internet axis will sit this one out. Then where will Mr. Campaign Finance reform go for help?
I sometimes wonder if people even know what the root of the word “conservatism” is. You don’t conserve anything by creating a constituency of entitlement voters who will change the landscape.
Let's see how well McCain's brand of conservatism sells where it counts in November.
All of the party hacks supporting McInsaneLiberal are the problem, not conservatives.
Get your priorities straight, conservative principles first and then party, otherwise you are just a democrat in a RINO's hide.
She almost never does. These are trolls.
Yes he does.
If any of us have the delusion that there is now or ever will be a candidate that we agree with 100 percent of the time on all issues, it is one hell of a pipe dream.
If we get 90% I think we’re pretty lucky.
But equally important with that is getting somebody in there who says BEFORE he is elected “This is where I stand on...” and then STICKS TO IT AFTER THE ELECTION.
And with McCain, I truly feel we know what we got. Agree with him or not, we know where he stands and he ain’t gonna change his position depending on where the wind blows.
I feel that he is an honorable man. If you want the “perfect” candidate, write your own d**n name in!
Rush and Hannity profit from having conservatives out of power, Dane. They are thrilled— thousands of callers calling up and talking about how awful it is that there’s no conservative running things. Whatever they say on the radio is just to keep up the charade for the gullible listeners.
Wow, Red Badger, well said.
I see Rush moving to TV or writing another blockbuster (if he pleases to), especially if McCain loses.
Woo Hoo..... a new book and t.v. show would get my attention. RUSH RULES!
Mornin’ Grammy.
“She almost never does. These are trolls.”
And SPINELESS trolls at that.
Sorry Dane, I’m feelin’ like a maverick. I think I’m going to vote for Fred in the general.
A flawed primary system has served up a winner who got around 35% of the vote, and you’re drawing sweeping conclusions??
That’s a recipe for a sound defeat in November.
Have you seen the history of Dane?
She is an OBL supporter.
This isn’t about much but that agenda.
Rush nor any other conservative talk show host struck out with me, they want a conservative is all, same as I do. As far as a litmus test, that’s BS because they were supporting Romney and he surely isn’t 100% conservative.
Don’t put me in Dane’s circle!
:)
Juan Hernandez, is that you?
