“Conservatives worked hard to prevent another liberal from taking over the republican party. We did our job and we succeeded. “

Since you now have McCain, I’d say it failed.

Nope...the biggest fairytale is the one McCain is telling. You know...the one where he says he is a conservative.

McCain is a Consensus-tive.

Which is fine for countries with ONE party, like Soviet Russia.

I'm not for Woman's right to choose. What do you know about me... Nothing.

He already said he is pro life. It's your vote that makes it so that we are are stuck with McCain. He probably won't win when they get through with him. So now we get Woman's right to choose, liberal judges, national health care and a President that will leave Iraq. Great job. Voting on one principle.

“announcement of McCain speaking later... boos heard in audience”

Good. McAmnesty has been screwing the base for years. Now it’s his turn.

Time for conservatives to unite and work together to make sure that neither Hillary or Obama become POTUS.

You mean by lining up behind McCain and Huckabee, the true, 100% Reagan Conservatives?

It would seem that the Lord told us to forgive, and folks like to condemn.

I personally am glad that the Lord left us room for error and redemption.

“HATE”

Thats a nasty word... Don’t agree with their policies? Don’t like what they represent but HATE ... hmmm

Since we are talking about Republican candidates for Presidnent here don’t you think that is a bit much?

So how do you feel about Obama or Hillary? Do you HATE them? If you answered no you need some serious soul searching...

STOP whining! You want to stifle my free speech... LOL... not very conservative of you. Free Republic is an open forum and many many FReepers do not consider Willard the Myth a fellow conservative and for good reason. You don't like to hear that, TOUGH!

You picked the wrong time and place for your “debate and discussion.”

My mistake: trying to appeal to the decency of people who have none.

I am saddened. I know that some thought he was full of crap but I really think he is conservative. How many people would drop out for the Country while at war? This might be the best thing for Mitt though. He needs to convince people that he is truly conservative and he should join a conservative group and write articles give speeches and truly show people that he has learned from his errors in the past. I think if he does this, I believe people will give him a chance in 2012 once the democrats junk up America for the next four years.

People with your way of thinking make my skin crawl.”

I want to see that

“Mitt was our best choice and small minded people have taken him away.”

No RINO Romney was NOT our best choice

Now you play the victim card for him ???

Romney ran his own campaign to its end

He could always put in more money

If he’s such a patriot, why doesnt he just do that ?????

He’s WAY too busy to write his own speeches nowadays and it doesn’t sound like something he would write all by himself.

Take a chill pill, Enchiladita, and lay off...

I’m a Romney supporter, for Chrissakes...

RELAX...........................

Mitt gave an awesome speech......TONS of cheering. When he mentioned McCain there were boos. He stepped aside, ended his campaign. Sad day.

Hope Rush played it all for you. Great speech. Wish I had made it to CPAC this year.

Of all people to say something like that. I am absolutely ROTFLOL. That’s a beauty.
