Well, I can't say I'm surprised, although a month ago I would have expected the RINO to be nominated would be Giuliani. If McCain does win the nomination, at least I will not have to worry about the presidential election any more this year. I just will not be voting in that race.
From Huckabee’s speech tonight, it sure didn’t sound like he was going to drop out.
There's a school of thought that dictates that if it is Juan McCain versus any Democrat, it is best to vote Democrat. Either way the country is screwed. It might as well happen with a Democrat in office if the GOP is ever to succeed in rebuilding its brand.
I'm not sure I would go for such a strategy, but I don't think the GOP has a real chance for making a political comeback until at least the Congressional elections in 2010. Maybe by then the national GOP will do the right thing and close all of its primaries.
A month ago I was convinced the RINO would have been Mitt, but its been an interesting year..
Not so sure about that, with Mitt out Huckster might just give McPain a run for the money. Once in a life time chance, hard to see Huckster passing it up to play second fiddle to McInsane.
Absolutely right. And then all those one issue Evangelicals who wouldn’t vote for a Morman in a one man race. Can spend the next 8 years watching their little causes being picked off one by one by the new Clinton/Obama supreme court. I for one don’t want to hear the whining from the Christian Right as Gay marriage becomes the law of the land, abortion is enshrined as law and your guns are taken away. You wanted Hillary, whether you will admit it or not, and now your going to get her. Good riddance. We can only hope that there is a country to save in 8 years, don’t bet on it. Verlo más tarde bebe’.
