If my candidate could lend himself 35 million, he’d have sown up the nomination months ago. Alas, the china appeasers and allies of Flip did not want him to get any exposure.

What I was expressing is that whoever replaces President Bush is a step down. We lose - period.

No. McCain is bad news but Huckabee isn’t in any way better.

That is the best we can hope for. 4 years of zilch getting done. It would be a vast improvement, actually.

God help the country.
There was a great movie from the 60s titled “Shoes of the Fisherman.” After the Pope dies, two of the powerful Cardinals are discussing their prospects for election. When they both realize that neither of them will get it, Leo McKern asks a question “Where do we go for our Pope?” My question to my fellow conservatives is “Where do we go for our Conservative Candidate?”

If Romney drops out, expect Huckabee to drop out soon thereafter. He knows he has no chance of winning the nomination, and he will have achieved his goal - to help McCain defeat Romney.
Well, I can't say I'm surprised, although a month ago I would have expected the RINO to be nominated would be Giuliani. If McCain does win the nomination, at least I will not have to worry about the presidential election any more this year. I just will not be voting in that race.

Its gonna be up to Huck to stop the McCainiac. Can he do it? Doesn't matter.
McCain is a nut, but so is the Huckster. Neither is fit for the office.
If this is the best we can offer the nation, we deserve to get creamed by the Dim candidate, regardless of who that actually is.

Its for the best. The more he fights MCcain the less Mccain has to spend over the summer. My hope is that Mccain will pick a conservative as a running mate.

I can't decide who to support in the general election. The telemarketer over at the RNC who begged me for more money said I have to support Turd Sandwich for POTUS.
She threatened me with a Giant Douche as President if I didn't give more money
Golly gee willikers, I don't know what to do. Should I vote for Giant Douche or Turd Sandwich? Cholera or Bubonic Plague? Somebody help. I just don't know what to do.
