say bye bye! to pro-abort, gun grabbing socialists disguised as conservatives!

Say hello to 8 looong years of cut-and-run, liberal judge appointing, illegal alien loving, Hillary and Bill Clinton.

Well I wish we could...and I’m series also. We obviously no longer have a party....but we are seriously outnumbered and will never have he support of the 800 lb gorilla....the media. They make the difference.

This isn’t what our ancestors fought and died for.

The problem is, these guys just couldn’t catch fire. As we’ve seen on the dem side, we need not just a conservative, but a conservative with CHARISMA (look at Obamania). Or if not charisma, at least more likeability than the current crop - someone who makes people want to go out and vote FOR them, instead of voting AGAINST someone else.

You got it right (good assessment)

Wow, months after months of bashing Romney and LDS and cr*pping all over the Mormons. Gosh, you must feel all warm and fuzzy that Romney only won 7 states and McCain won 9 and beat him in Cali.

It’s bigots like you who gave us the clusterhuck.

Well done (NOT).

You don’t have to like McCain but I don’t see the basis for a claim that some “GOP establishment” picked the winner. It just didn’t happen that way.

Correct. The Dem media picked him.

Gridlock is our friend...

So, is our best choice now a dimocrat president and 41 Republican senators who will oppose whatever a Dem. wants?

It seems that way. We know from experience that Republicans will cave in to a Republican (if in name only) president.

Huckster is the worst. possible. candidate. in the field.

You have got it totally backwards. Huckabee wins wherever he goes and can make his candidacy known. He wins in the most conservative states. He wins on a shoestring budget. He makes the most with the least. He is the best campaigner, and has the best shot at taking out both McCain and Hillary.

So you caught "Wasted Vote Syndrome"...Hmm...what's the cure for that?

I suppose a gloating post from a bigot.

Fred should have tossed some haymakers in Iowa earlier to try to avoid the Huckabee boomlet. His biggest mistake I feel was not getting in to Iowa before the straw poll at least. In any case my conscience is clear, I voted for Fred with a mail-in ballot the day after Hunter dropped out.

McCain can go pound sand if he wins the Pubbie nomination. He will not get any support from me for the general. I told the GOP to go pound sand a long time ago, and as it turned out I was right then and now.

I think Romney’s wife wants out, not Romney. We’ll see who wears the pants shortly.

If you have Mr. Scaife’s number (or some other money man in mind), please, let me know.

Starting a realistic new party, from scratch? Sheesh, you’re talking about fifty or a hundred million dollars key money, plus maintenance until it rolls on its own. And it will NOT be moving soon enough to help in November.

Well, this was planned.

I apparently am the only person on the face of the planet who remembers what Rush told us several years ago...why he doesn't bring it up any longer, I do not know.

He had just returned from a goodwill troop visit to the M.E. with a few other VIP's.

He said that he had been shocked to hear that the "plan" by the "PARTY"...read "Bush Administration," was to cast off the Conservatives (they consider them fringe kooks). His informant told him that they believed that the hard core Conservatives would likely join with the Left-Wing fanatics, and that they could do without such folks by forming a "moderate-middle" Party.

The first time he talked about it, he wouldn't say who had told him of this plan. A week later, he let it slip (this person did not necessarily agree with it, IMO).

They have succeeded in their plan. I thought it was ridiculous at the time...but they've done it.

Now we just need to stop Hillary and Obama. I give John McCain a lot of credit. I vote for him

Let us think about this.

Whole Country is in a foul mood. They hate the Political class with a passion. Everyone from the President to the least member of Congress has record low sustained political approval numbers.

The GOP, because they hold the WH, is seen as the party in power.

Given the country's furious Anti DC mood who has a better chance of winning against Clinton Inc?

A tired broke old 25 year member of the DC Establishment who is running on a Leftist agenda with a long politically corrupt history who virtually no one in the Conservative Movement likes or trusts who's stated political agenda is to be Democrat Lite

or

an articulate successful business man and former Gov with a $250 million war chest who at least is running on a solidly Conservative agenda who can credibly run a Reagan style "we got to go clean up DC" campaign?

9 months ago according to all the National Polls the only person who could beat Clinton Inc was Rudy G. Where is he now?

That is where the GOP and McCain will be in Nov 2008. The GOP will be lucky to win 10 states.

I think Obama will be their guy.....

Mccain would not have a chance against him....
LANDSLIDE

Now...against Hillary? He would probably win.

I have never in my life been so disgusted with all of the candidates we now have. They are a bunch of kooks who do not deserve to be anywhere near the White House. I did not even vote today. Besides being sick, I was sick of the whole mess. Guess I will be getting a whole lot more genealogy research done now without trying to keep up with the candidates. That is what I have been doing tonight. Found out some interesting facts if they are true but with all of the mistakes on the net, I can never trust anything until I really check it out. I also have an internet show on playing old westerns by the Sons of the Pioneers, Roy Rogers, Ken Curtis, etc. I love it!!
